Job Overview:
The Associate SQA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring software quality through systematic testing and validation. This role involves understanding requirements, preparing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to improve overall product quality.
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in manual testing along with basic knowledge of automation, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a structured QA environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review software requirements and specifications to understand the testing scope and provide feedback.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, UI, usability) to ensure product quality.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts using open-source tools.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools
- Support automation testing by executing test scripts, analyzing results, and reporting issues for continuous improvement.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes to ensure the stability of the system.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team, and product team to clarify requirements and issues.
- Support test planning and estimation activities under the guidance of the senior team
members.
- Participate in test ex*****on, reporting defects, and verifying fixes.
- Help maintain QA documentation (test cases, reports, checklists).
- Monitor application behavior and report inconsistencies or unexpected results.
- Learn and follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Assist in tracking QA metrics such as defect count and test coverage.
- Stay updated with basic testing tools, techniques, and automation practices.
- Perform any additional QA-related tasks assigned by the Team

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- 1.5 to 2.5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance within IT/software companies
- Bachelor’s degree in CSE or a related field
- Good skills in manual and automation testing (candidates with automation experience will be preferred)
