We’re Hiring: QA Engineer
Cloudly is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong manual, automation, API, performance, and AI/ML testing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases, plans, and scenarios from requirements and user stories.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing across web/mobile apps.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using modern frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure.
- Test REST APIs, data flows, responses, and error handling.
- Conduct performance/load testing with k6/JMeter and identify bottlenecks.
- Test AI/ML features for accuracy, relevance, consistency, edge cases, hallucinations, and groundedness in LLM/RAG systems.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers on requirements, testability, QA strategy, process improvement, and quality metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright/Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Experience with Postman/Newman, REST APIs, k6/JMeter, Git, CI/CD, Git Issues/Jira/TestRail, and SQL.
- Experience testing AI/ML features and evaluating LLM/RAG outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, factual correctness, hallucinations, and groundedness.
- Understanding of retrieval quality, prompt-based testing, evaluation sets, non-deterministic outputs, and tolerance-based validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
