🚨 টাইগার আইটির কর্মকর্তাদের পাসপোর্ট জব্দের অভিযোগ সম্পূর্ণ মিথ্যা🚨

সম্প্রতি প্রকাশিত এক সংবাদে দাবি করা হয় যে টাইগার আইটি বাংলাদেশ-এর ১৯ কর্মকর্তার পাসপোর্ট জব্দ করা হয়েছে। আমরা স্পষ্টভাবে জানাচ্ছি—এই তথ্য সম্পূর্ণ মিথ্যা, বিভ্রান্তিকর ও ভিত্তিহীন।

২৭ আগস্ট ২০২৫ তারিখে রাজধানীর আগারগাঁওয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত এক প্রেস ব্রিফিংয়ে নির্বাচন কমিশনের জ্যেষ্ঠ সচিব আখতার আহমেদ পরিষ্কারভাবে জানান:

“আমাদের পাসপোর্ট জব্দ করার এখতিয়ার নেই, এবং আমরা এ ধরনের কোনো পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করিনি।”

এ ধরনের অযাচাইকৃত সংবাদ প্রকাশ শুধু যে দায়িত্বশীল সাংবাদিকতার মান নষ্ট করে তাই নয়, বরং গত ২৫ বছরেরও বেশি সময় ধরে বাংলাদেশের ডিজিটাল রূপান্তর ও প্রযুক্তি খাতে নেতৃত্বদানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান টাইগার আইটি-এর সুনামকে প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করে।

২০০৭ সাল থেকে টাইগার আইটি বাংলাদেশ দেশের প্রথম বায়োমেট্রিক ভোটার নিবন্ধন, জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র (NID) সিস্টেম, এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আইসিটি অবকাঠামো বাস্তবায়নে পথপ্রদর্শকের ভূমিকা পালন করছে। আমাদের উদ্ভাবনী প্রযুক্তি সরকারের ব্যয় কমিয়েছে, তথ্য নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করেছে এবং বাংলাদেশের ডিজিটাল সার্বভৌমত্বকে আরও শক্তিশালী করেছে।

🚨A recent media report alleging the seizure of 19 TigerIT officials’ passports is false, misleading, and baseless.

At a press briefing on 27 August 2025, Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhter Ahmed clarified:

“We do not have the jurisdiction to seize passports, and no such action was taken.”

Regrettably, such unverified claims were published, undermining both responsible journalism and the integrity of a company that has contributed to Bangladesh’s digital transformation for over 25 years.
