AltaiCare Cloud Announcement: New AP Firmware Available Now
Dear AltaiCare Cloud Wi-Fi Customer,



This is to inform you that we have new AP firmware available for AltaiCare Cloud. The main purpose of this update is to renew HTTPS SSL certificate for portal authentication as the existing one is going to expire through Jan 05, 2022.

- A8n/A8n(ac) Series

- A3/A2(ac) Series

Applicable to the following AP models:

- AX500 Series

- IX500

Possible Impact: If no action taken on or before Jan 05, 2022, the Wi-Fi users would get a warning message on browsers when attempting to log in through the portal. To fix the issue, please update your AP to the abovementioned versions as soon as possible.

Below are the procedures to schedule firmware update for your APs.

1. Go to Wireless > Network > Access Point.

2. Select the target APs by checking the boxes on the left of the AP List.

3. Click the “Update Firmware” button on the pop-up bar.

4. Select the target firmware to update.

5. Set a schedule for firmware update. You can either specify a date and time, or select “now” for the update to take place.

New RC Firmware released!

We are delighted to inform you that we have new AP firmware for AltaiCare Cloud management. In this update we have the following major bug fixes:

- Enhance connection stability between AltaiCare and AP and fix the issue where AP is displayed as “Offline” mistakenly
- Optimize AP flash usage
- Fix WLAN scheduler handling for deleted WLAN
- Fix "Lock AP MAC" issue where the first byte of AP MAC address is being parsed for station’s connection under WPA/WPA-PSK security mode

Please note this firmware has not become an official version yet. However, it has passed all the tests and verifications. We now put it on AltaiCare Cloud as a RC (Release Candidate) version for customer’s trial. Since you are one of our regular customers, we would like to invite you to try it out.

📣📣📣 Altai Cloud New Feature Update!! 🆕🆕

Dear AltaiCare Cloud Wi-Fi Customer,

We are delighted to announce that there will be a system upgrade for AltaiCare Cloud and new firmware for APs. This AltaiCare release (ver 3.0.0) will bring exciting new features and enhancements in various aspects. Please see the feature highlights below.

🔴 When:
- The system upgrade will start from Jan 13 at 02:00am (UTC +0) and last for 3-4 hours.

💢 Impact:
- During the above time window, we will disable the cloud management portal. Any new client connection via Portal/RADIUS/MAC authentication will not be processed. However, there will be no impact to APs and WiFi service for existing clients.

- After the system upgrade is completed, you may arrange AP firmware update at any time via AltaiCare management portal to get the new features. Please go to the AP list, select the target APs and set a scheduler for single AP update or batch update.

For A8n/A8n(ac) family, A2/A3 family, C1n/C2s family and VX200, please update the firmware to 2.2.1.1410.AG1.2.0.V78.

For AX500/IX500/CX200, please update the firmware to 3.1.3.1608.AG1.2.0.V83.

Both firmware will be marked as “Official” for your easy reference.

- Support search box in Google Map for quick location/AP search
- Support WEP security configuration for backward compatibility
- Introduce default site configuration for simple AP initialization
- Support dynamic VLAN for network access control
- Enhance the “Lock AP MAC” mechanism for station mode to allow the CPE to connect with the target AP regardless of its BSSIDs

🟩 Statistics Enhancement:
- Append station connection time statistics & extend WLAN statistics in site report
- Support AP-CPE topology graph generation to demonstrate relation between various managed APs
- Add station list UI on both site and AP levels to monitor station status on a single pane view

🟩 Portal Service:
- Complete L2 portal support for extended network deployment scenarios
- Support user account renovation feature in both time period and time point schedule
- Allow AP portal certificate upload for customizable login portal domain

🟩 OAM:
- Support announcement system for system level notification

কারো মিস্টি কথায় ভুলে, নিজে যাচাই বাছাই না করে কম দামে নিম্নমানের ডিভাইস কিনে ব্যবসার ১২ টা বাজানোর আগে, ডিভাইসের স্পেসিফিকেশন ডাউনলোড করে মিলিয়ে নিন (লিংক সহ বিস্তারিত) এবং ওয়াইফাই টেকনোলজির ভাল খারাপ দিক, ওয়াইফাই টেকনোলজি৷ ও সিগনালের লিমিটেশন সম্পর্কে নিজে স্টাডি করে ভালোভাবে জানুন, বুঝুন তারপর ডিসিশন নিন ব্যবসা করবেন কিনা। টাকা, মেধা ও শ্রম এই ৩টার কোন একটার ঘাটতি থাকলে যে কোন ব্যবসায় লস হবার সম্ভাবনাই বেশি থাকে।
