After nearly a decade, Project Bluebox (Biometric SIM Registration Project) has officially been handed over to our client’s in-house development team.
Back in 2015, we started with a vision and built the platform in just six months, successfully launching it in June 2016. Since then, CodeFix has been responsible for operating, maintaining, and continuously evolving the solution through June 30, 2026.
Bluebox was built to securely capture subscribers’ biometric information, verify it against the Election Commission database, and enable SIM registration, re-registration, and other subscriber services at national scale. Over the years, it has become a critical platform supporting one of the country’s most important digital infrastructure initiatives.
Successfully maintaining a mission-critical system for almost 10 years is an achievement that reflects the dedication, expertise, and resilience of the entire CodeFix team.
As we complete this handover, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our client for their trust, to our partners for their collaboration, and to every engineer, architect, QA, DevOps specialist, and support team member who contributed to this journey.
Every ending creates space for a new beginning. We are proud of what we built, honored by the trust we earned, and excited for the next generation of innovations that CodeFix will deliver.
