What is CashParking?

CashParking® is a service that lets you earn money on your parked domain names. If you associate your domains with your CashParking account, our advertising partner places context-relevant advertisements on your page. Each time a visitor clicks a displayed advertisement, you receive a share of the generated click-through revenue based on your CashParking plan (60% to 80% of the generated revenue). The amount you receive and the price you pay for the CashParking service depends on the plan you select. You can add an unlimited number of domains to your CashParking account.

Parked domains are domains that display a temporary Web page when someone enters your domain name in a Web browser.

Can I add a domain name registered elsewhere to CashParking?

If you registered your domain name elsewhere, you can monetize your domain name with us by selecting the CashParking plan you want to use and entering your domain name. You must change your nameservers through your current registrar to the CashParking nameservers:

ns01.cashparking.com

ns02.cashparking.com

How is revenue generated?

Through our advertising partners, we place contextually relevant advertisements on your parked, CashParking domain names. Each time a visitor clicks one of the advertisements displayed on the page, our advertising partners pay a certain amount. That revenue is split between the service provider and the domain owner, in accordance with the applicable revenue-sharing plan. For example, CashParking customers who sign up for the 80% revenue share plan receive 80% of the generated revenue while the remaining 20% goes to the service provider.

The actual revenue generated when a visitor clicks an advertisement varies and is determined by the specific advertisement on which the visitor clicked. A number of factors define which advertisements display on your page, including the quality of your domain and the amount and nature of traffic your page receives.

CashParking revenue is reported with a delay of up to 48 hours. This delay ensures that the revenue displayed in your CashParking account shows your actual earnings, rather than a generic estimate.

What is click fraud?

Click fraud is a common problem in Internet-based pay-per-click advertising programs. It is the act of clicking online advertisements for the purpose of generating a fraudulent or invalid per-click charge that increases the site owner's profits. Invalid clicks can be generated by manual action or through automated tools that imitate manual action.

We monitor all CashParking-related traffic for click fraud and take appropriate action, up to and including suspension or termination of a CashParking account, if clicks are found to be invalid or fraudulent. See CashParking FAQ for more information.

How do I get paid?

To receive commission for your CashParking® account, you must select one of the following payment methods: direct deposit, PayPal®, Good As Gold, or personal check. The amount paid depends on your CashParking plan.

Electronic Payment Options

We make payments midway through the second month following the month they're earned. For example, we pay commission you earned in January in mid-March.
PayPal is subject to a $25 minimum. To ensure that you can receive payments, see PayPal's International Payment Restrictions.
Good As Gold accounts are subject to a $5 minimum.
Domestic (U.S.) Check Payments

U.S.-based check payments are subject to a $100 minimum. A $25 service fee is applied. If you do not earn the monthly minimum, your total commission rolls over to the following month until your total earnings reach the minimum.

We deduct the $25 service fee from the total amount paid.

Use one of the following payment methods to avoid service fees and lower your minimum amount:

Direct Deposit
PayPal
Good As Gold
Checks are issued on approximately the 15th of each month.

International Check Payments

International check payments are subject to a $100 minimum, and there are no service fees. If you do not earn the minimum in a quarter, the total commission you earned rolls over to the next quarter until your earnings meet the minimum. We send checks to international customers approximately 45 days after the end of each quarter, on the following dates:

February 15, for commission earned October 1 to December 31
May 15, for commission earned January 1 to March 31
August 15, for commission earned April 1 to June 30
November 15, for commission earned July 1 to Sept. 30
Cancellation Notice

If you cancel your account, a $15 service fee is deducted from the unpaid funds in your account. After all applicable fees, we pay the remaining balance using your selected payment option.

How many domains can I associate with a CashParking account?

You can associate an unlimited number of domain names with your CashParking account, and you can add up to 500 domains at a time. Because you can associate an unlimited number of domains with a CashParking account and conveniently track and manage all of them through that one account, you only need one CashParking account. You can also upgrade or downgrade your revenue-sharing plan at any time.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners – The Ultimate Guide

Writing an ultimate guide about affiliate marketing for beginners has not been easy for me and has actually taken hours to write (I also apologise for the length of this post in advance). The reason is that I had to go back in time to recall the finer details of affiliate marketing for beginners.
People often call me lucky when I tell them how I make money online, but my business has absolutely nothing to do with luck. Earning money with affiliate marketing didn’t just happen for me. It took a lot of trial and sadly a lot of errors.
Please enjoy and feel free to share this guide with your friends.

What is Affiliate Marketing?
According to Wikipedia, Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts.
My interpretation is that I am an affiliate marketer and I sell other people’s product for an agreed commission. I send targeted customers to their purchasing page through an affiliate link or banner that I have created. If I send the right person to the right offer I have a better chance of making a sale and getting my commission.
Recommended for YouWebcast: The Art of Building Partnerships
You can join an affiliate program either directly through a merchant or through a network that handles the merchants affiliate transactions.
Get Serious First
If you just want to try your hand at affiliate marketing because you heard about it somewhere on the internet then that is not a good reason to start a business doing this. It is not something that will make you millions over night. It actually takes skill.
If you really want to learn a new skill that can possibly turn into a new career then that is what affiliate marketing for beginners is about. The key here is that it will take time to learn and master.
Get Paid To Grow Your Own Business
I build successful WordPress websites and I not only have developed true and sell-able assets, I also got paid to build them. Where else can you do this?
Make The Future Your Goal And The Present Will Come
Of course you want instant profits today. Who doesn’t? You can get your instant commission from selling other people’s products but always try and remember how the customer is also connected to your business. Can you connect with that person in the future? Are they signed up to your list, following you on Facebook, or maybe commenting on your content?
Never let a good commission get in the way of your customers. Your website audience is the lifeblood of your business.
That is why you need a website to proceed.
Build a Website VS No Website
You are talking to the wrong person here if you are waiting to hear that you can make lots of money by not having a website. You possibly can make money without a website but what exactly are you building? I like to build a business and something that becomes virtual real estate. If you are planning on spamming social media with affiliate links, or some other devious way to get a sale, then this article is not for you.
I don’t believe that building a business that relies on third party properties is a good idea at all. For example, if you build an awesome page and make millions from it, what happens when Facebook removes your page? What then?
Or what if you build a website that solely relies on Google for traffic and Google decides to de-index your site for breach of THEIR TERMS?
This is why you need your own website and you need to build your own customer base.
Choosing a Niche
Choosing the right niche for your website can be a tricky thing to do. After all, if you choose the wrong niche you could be working on something that will never actually make money in the end. That is why I have a few simple questions you should ask yourself when choosing a niche:
• Are people searching for content related to this niche?
• Is there a problem I can solve for them?
• When searching in Google, are other businesses advertising on the results pages? Is there money to be made?
• Is this topic out of my league or do I have the knowledge to be the best?
• Are competing sites unbeatable with awesome content ? Is there a space for me?
Stick to What You Know
Many people will start building websites that are centred around topics that they really have no idea about. I have seen this many times over the years and it always seems to lead to the same conclusion. If you do not get out of bed every day and enjoy what you do, I can almost guarantee you will not be doing it for long.
Even when building a website from scratch, you need to enjoy the topic that you have to write about every day, because trust me, you will get sick of it very fast. Therefore choosing your website topic should be a mixture of research and passion.
Buy Hosting
You can try to build our business on free Web hosting or blogging platforms, but I never recommend it. If you are serious about affiliate marketing and building a website that can actually make money, you need to buy your place on the Internet. Sure you can get your nerdy neighbour to host your website on his home-made server, but trust me, this only leads to trouble.
When looking for website hosting, you need to consider this from a business point of view. Are you going to get good service and it is your website going to be available 24 hours a day?
When I first started out I bought Godaddy hosting and immediately started to hit roadblocks on what I could and could’t do. Everything I wanted to do with my website involved getting another upgrade which in turn always costed more. I hated that.
After trying a few more hosting companies I ended up with Hostgator and have been with them for approx 7 years.
The one thing I will say about website hosting is JUST DO IT! Don’t waste time on this decision or you will never get started!
If you decide you don’t like your hosting, most top hosting companies will move your website into their new hosting for free.. So stay cool as change is easy!
Now Build a WordPress Website
WordPress is the only website building platform I use. I have some free resources for you to build a website at the push of a button. This includes free step-by-step tutorials and full-length videos.
See my WordPress Website Basic Tutorials page for more information.
Affiliate Marketing For Beginners – What to Sell
Now that you have a niche, what can you sell? This is an important question because you cannot just sell anything and everything on the Internet.
Here are a few tips to finding and selling the right affiliate product:
• The best way to sell a product is to use it yourself. Are you willing to buy it before trying to sell?
• The best product is the one that is directly matched to your content. A cat lover does not want a dog grooming tool.
• Think about your reputation when selling other people’s products. Is it a good product and will it please the customer?
• The merchant page you send your potential customer to must do a good job at converting then to buyers. After all, you have worked hard to get them there.
• Will the merchant provide good after sale support and care about customers?
Where To Find Affiliate Products
This is the boring part. Sifting through sites that offer affiliate products.
Affiliate Networks: These are websites that basically control an affiliate program for a particular merchant. If you visit an affiliate network you will see hundreds of merchants listed and waiting for affiliates to sign up to their program.
Some affiliate networks include:
• Clickbank
• JVZoo
• Commission Junction
• Linkshare
• Shareasale
Most of these networks are pay per sale or pay per lead. A network like Adsense is pay per click (PPC) and Neverblue is pay per action (PPA).
Go Direst to Merchant Sites: Some merchants choose to handle its own affiliate sales and payments. For example, the Elegant themes affiliate program is run from their website. If you see a product that others are selling then the first place to visit is the merchants website. Most will have an affiliate link for more information on how to join their program.
We must always be careful when dealing with merchants directly as some have been known to not pay up when commissions are due. Go with well know merchants just to be safe.
Related Websites: See what your competition is selling and find the affiliate program for that product. Please note: The website might either be stupid or smart. Stupid for sticking with a product that doesn’t sell or smart for sticking with a product that does sell. Either way you need to find out for yourself.
Adsense Banners: We all know Google knows what sells with what content so why not steal their ideas? Place Adsense on your blog and see what ads appear on what pages. Then when you see pages that earn good money from Adsense you can remove Adsense from individual pages.
Where To Place Affiliate Links and Banners?
Over the years I have learnt that affiliate banners placed in the sidebar of a website are there just for looks. The real money is made within the content. Why do you think Google AdSense suggests that you place a banner within your content? This is because it is the best performing ad.
I have stolen some very valuable tips from the Google AdSense program over the years. For example, Google only serves highly related ads, they like them to be placed in the content, and they like them to blend in with the overall website.
So now when I place an affiliate banner or link I follow these basic rules. But the best rule of all is to have a highly related product within your content. This is because if a person takes the time to read this content, they are obviously interested in its information, which is more likely to lead to a purchase.
Nothing But Useful Content
Even though I say that “content is not the only king“, by gosh it is dam important! If you haven’t got the information that your visitor wants then you can kiss your affiliate commissions goodbye. Excellent content is the main ingredient in your sale process so never just slap any old content up. See this article showingwhat I think quality content is.
Each time you build awesome content with the right monetization methods, you’re building another opportunity to make a sale.
Publishing generic content will not get you in the race for being one of the best information providers and is a waste of your time. Affiliate marketing is not about cheesy sales pitches, it is about providing awesome information that makes the reader want to buy something.
For example if you choose to review a product it can’t be a generic article. The best reviews can only come from a true experience of using the product.

Build Pages and Then…
Get targeted traffic to your landing pages, reviews, tutorials, and so on. You will never know if your content and affiliate links are working if you don’t get a certain amount of people there to see it.
Tips to get targeted traffic to your offers:
• Guest post on someone else’s site where your customers might be. 2 or 3 for each post is the best.
• Share your content through social media.
• Create a free download like a PDF report that links back to this content.
• Send an email out to your subscribers alerting them of the new content.
Then Do It Again
So you created a page that worked for you. Awesome. Now you should promote that page more and create more related content. Don’t leave the page to die and get burred in the archives of your site, it is too valuable for that!
Be In IT To WIN IT
Well duh! If you don’t add affiliate links and banners into your content then how do you expect to make sales? When people fail to make money when affiliate marketing, it is usually because they are not discretely monetizing all opportunities. People DO NOT care if you have a few links and banners on a website, in fact they expect it. Especially when they get interested in a product and want to see more. If they have to go and search for the product themselves, they hate that.

The Hunt Must Go On
Let us just say you have written an awesome article, but the affiliate products you usually sell will not fit with this content. You have a feeling that people who read this content might want to buy a particular product. For example an article about keeping children safe online might be suited to software like Net Nanny rather than an Antivirus program. The need would be direct and far more precise.
So hunt for the closest match possible. Gather new affiliate products and test them. If they work, keep them by your side. If they are duds, take them away from your valuable content.
Make Every Visitor Count
Every visitor to your website is either a customer or a potential customer. Either way, you need to get their contact details as you can sell more to existing customers and convince potential customers to buy. You should never let a chance go by and never let a visitor leave empty handed.
In the affiliate marketing business it is common practice to collect e-mail addresses from website visitors all customers. This is a fantastic way to build a business, however creating a list with people that are not interested in what you have to offer is a bad idea!
My lists for letsbuildwebsites.com only fall into two categories. One for building a website from scratch and one for making money with a website. That’s it. So I am looking for people that are interested in these subjects only.
Sell To The Right People
You also do not want to try and sell to people that already have what you offer. For example, this website shows people how to build a website, therefore my ideal website visitor would not be a well established popular blogger.
My other main website has basic computer tips and is not for the fill blown geek who talks tech language. If a full blooded geek read my articles they would be thinking that they are simple and not required, whereas computer illiterate people see a great need for them.
Any old traffic doesn’t pay the bills. You need to get targeted traffic to your website.

"18 Internet Business Ideas To Make Money Online"

Starting up a business is by no means an easy task. If you want to learn how to make money online, you need to have good business ideas, but you also need a great marketing plan. The good news is with a domain and hosting, alongside some basic skills, your ideas can become a reality. Each of the internet business ideas below are competitive niches, so make sure you go in with all guns blazing!

>>> Last year I made $172,000 online, I’ll show you exactly how I did it HERE.
1. Become an affiliate
Learning how to earn money online as an affiliate isn’t easy. But there are lots of people worldwide that are making over $1,000,000 a year doing it. Most will not be a successful unless they have some formal help and training. Affiliate stores are web stores where people purchase items on a site, but through a third party.
Amazon is one of the most popular affiliate programs in the world, but it really shouldn’t be considering the commissions are so low! It’s not just Amazon that you can affiliate with; there are 1,000 affiliate programs to choose from. Although Amazon can be lucrative, there are some much better options out there, allowing affiliates to earn up to 75% commission in some cases! Work in your own time
Build multiple sites
Work in your own time
Focus on product niches that you have an interest in!
Example
Affilorama is a great resource for anyone looking at starting their journey in affiliate marketing. The email marketer’s best friend is their email list; you have to have an email list! I use Aweber to collect subscribers.
2. Start an ecommerce store
At the forefront of the internet revolution has been ecommerce stores. Nowadays you can get an easy to use, fully functional ecommerce store design for as little as £500; then you just need adomain and hosting. Of course, how much you profit depends on your methods and effectiveness of marketing which might include:
Print media
PPC (pay-per-click)
SEO (search engine optimisation)
Networking
Event sponsorship
The list goes on…!
SaleHoo is a great resource when it comes to finding suppliers and learning how to sell online!
Example – Zappos
You might not have even heard of Zappos, an online shoe store. Well, that goes to show how big the internet really is and how big your online business could be. Maybe it might even come to close to the acquisition of Zappos by Amazon for a reported $900,000,000.
3. Earn Cash From Blogging
Starting a blog isn’t as hard as you think. All you need is hosting and a domain. To make money online from a blog you need to gain large amounts of traffic from a specific niche. See how I do it here. You can earn cash using:
AdSense
Selling banner advertisements
Affiliating to sites such as Amazon & eBay (see #2)
Offer premium services or member areas
Example – TechCrunch
TechCrunch is a popular Web 2.0 blog and makes a reported $200,000 per month. Originally started by Michael Arrington, it was eventually acquired by AOL for a reported $25,000,000. There is money to be made by blogging and it’s cheap one of the cheap and easy home based businesses to get started with.
4. Sell on eBay
Selling on eBay successfully is not easy. You need to be able to able to target a niche where the profit margins are high and competition is low. If you pick the right product (particularly unbranded products) you have a chance to import items and make huge profit margins.SaleHoo is awesome for finding suppliers.
Example – Linda’s Stuff
There are some extremely large sellers on eBay. Take “Linda’s Stuff” as an example, with around 150,000 items online and nearly 350,000 confirmed sales.
5. Train and mentor
Perhaps you have a specific skill set that you could teach. There are hundreds of skills that can be taught over the internet, especially due to the fact that services like Skype are free.
You might have to offer a free service now and build a freemium model (offer free accounts with limited features, then charge for upgrades) for the future in order to make some large amounts of cash. It’s one of the good business ideas for those with extensive amounts of knowledge. You could:
Teach a language
Offer marketing training
Help improve writing skills
And more!
Example – Code Academy
Although it is only in the early stages Code Academy is going to be one of those online training centres that really stands out from the crowd. More than one investor has seen the potential that is has with the Academy getting over $12.5m in investment within the first 12 months, including investments from Richard Branson and Yuri Milner.
6. Become a drop shipper
Drop shipping is fairly similar to running an affiliate store. You act as the mediator without ever touching the product. The difference between a drop shipper and affiliate is that the sale with drop shipping websites is not completely managed. You might have to set up systems to automatically make a purchase with your drop shipping company, in order for it to be sent directly to the end consumer.
Example – iPhoneStore
There was a sale confirmed on Flippa a few years ago for iPhoneStore.com. It was producing nearly $30,000 in revenue every month and sold for $90,000.
7. Paid blogging
With over 350,000,000 websites on the internet, there is a huge demand for content. If you have experience or skills relating to writing, offering a blog posting service could be for you. Lower paid projects might start at around £1 per 100 words, with quality focused projects being in the £2.50-10 per 100 words range. Sites like People Per Hour and Elance are great for picking up paid writing gigs, without actually having a website.
You can get my 5 step guide to making $172,000 in 12 months for free here.
Example – Vibe Tech Media
You’ll notice my bio at the end of the article, as well as details on the homepage. I make a full time income from blogging for digital marketing agencies. I get leads thanks to my simple landing page.
8. Become a virtual assistant
A virtual assistant is a great job to have if you want flexibility. You’ll be able to maintain multiple clients at once which mean you can easily fill gaps in your week or work overtime if you need to. A virtual assistant will generally charge £15-20 depending on the specifics of their job role. Expect to be assisting with tasks such as blogger outreach, product listings, research and responding to emails.
Example – HM Virtual Assistant
Check out the story of a Mother that managed to fit her work around being a parent here.
9. Offer web design
Nearly every company is now looking to build a website. In fact, even those companies that have a website are looking to make sure that theirs looks bigger and better than the competition. You can learn how to earn money from home with practically no investment and this is certainly one of the best business ideas for someone wanting huge amounts of flexibility.
You can learn the basics of coding on CodeAcademy and do specific online web design courses to build up your skill set. Sign up to freelance sites such as People Per Hour and start building up your portfolio! This portfolio might even lead you into a high paid job!
Example – City College Brighton
Many of the students from City College Brighton have gone on to be successful freelance web designers, and you could do the same!
10. Deal in domains
You’ve heard of antique dealers and even car dealers, but what about dealing in domains? Domains are internet real estate and like real estate they could be considered as an investment. Don’t just buy any domains, spread your risk with a portfolio and make sure you hold out for the highest price possible.
Learning how to connect with the end consumer, rather than other domain dealers, will enable you to get the highest price possible for your domains.
Example – Domaining.com
If you are not familiar with some of the prices that domains have been sold for, then the all time list here is worth looking out. Checkout hotels.com, which went for $9,500,000! One of the highest domain sales back in 2012 was silver.com which sold for $875,000.
11. Outsource
How about setting up a business that focuses on outsourcing? Most successful service providers on the internet find that they need external help at some point. They might have a blogging client that requires logo design. They might have a guest posting service client that needs web design . Instead of actually providing the services personally, you could outsource and take a profit margin of your choice! Make sure you learn how to outsource first!
Example – Copify.com
Copify is an example of a company that uses outsourcing. They source writers and they source clients. They connect the dots to create an online business deal and take their profit margin.
12. Trade currencies
Every day, there is a huge fluctuation in FX markets. If you have a combination of technical and fundamental analytical skills and some cash flow, you can become an online currency trader. Places like www.forexfactory.com are great for learning the basics. Remember, this is leveraged cash, so if you make the right decisions, you have a chance to profit big! At the same time, the risks can be high if you don’t have a money management strategy in place.
Example – Bill Lipschutz
Bill Lipschutz is considered to be one of the best FX investors of all time.
13. Build apps
Again, CodeAcademy will give you good grounding in coding languages. Expect to train for 12 months before being able to build apps that are going to achieve lots of sales. There are a few options when it comes to building apps…
Bespoke basis for clients
Sell based on a fixed fee (multiple licenses)
Charge a monthly fee
Example – Summly
Looking to hit the jackpot? Checkout this recent acquisition by Yahoo! to buyout Summly for $30,000,000…from a 17 year old!
14. Offer telemarketing
Telemarketing services are great for appointment setting as well as creating warm leads. More and more companies are looking to outsource their marketing efforts and this is where you could fit in. Telemarketers charge £15-30 per hour depending on the size and type of operation.
Example – DM Concepts
DM Concepts is a telemarketing company that has managed to achieve some fantastic statistics. The higher quality the service you offer, the more you are going to be able to charge!
15. Create videos
UK spend on online video has seen 13.5% year on year growth, and now exceeds spend on TV advertising. (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) Hundreds of statistics like this have meant that businesses have to produce videos. Well, they don’t have to, but if they don’t, they are going to be missing out. Video platforms are just another avenue to acquire potential consumers. You can offer video packages from £50-5,000 and beyond. Select your target market and market to them effectively.
Example – Old Spice
If you can couple video production with the ability to be creative, you can make videos go viral. If you can do that, your £500 video is going to be worth £5,000 or even £50,000 to a client. Checkout the results from the Old Spice video campaign!
16. Manage social media profiles
Social media is an important part of any online business. The problem? Time! Most business owners simply don’t have the time to be involved with Twitter, LinkedIn, Face Book and other sites, in a pro-active way. That is where you can help.
If you can engage clients and build up attractive social media profiles, then you will be able to attract clients, which makes this a service with value. Again, these projects are posted on freelance sites such as People Per Hour and Elance on a regular basis, so you can start building up clients straight away! Check out these amazing statistics for LinkedIn!
Example – Clorox Bleach
If you can consistently provide companies with successful social media campaigns and improve their profiles, they will pay. Clorox Bleach had some huge success with one of their recent social media campaigns.
17. Create valuable resources
The sites that hold the most value on the web hold the most valuable content. Face Book holds information about what hundreds of millions of users. YouTube possess millions of funny, educational and controversial videos. If you can create a website that focuses on offering valuable resources, then you just might be onto a winner.
Remember, you can offer the freemium model mentioned previously if there is no scope to achieve high advertising revenue. You could even be teaching others how to make money online, while doing exactly the same thing for yourself!
Example – Shopify
Shopify is a great example of the freemium model. By offering some applications for free, they get exposure for their whole business. Since the company was founded in 2004, they have acquired 30,000 customers, including Pixar and the Foo Fighters. Their revolutionary “build-a-business” competitions in the past have produced over $70,000,000 in revenue for over 14,000 entrants.
18. Translate
There are over 300,000 translators in the world for a reason; they are needed. In a world where more and more companies are using outsourcing, those that speak other languages are indispensable. Whether you are negotiating deals for an import-export agent or replying to company emails, there is work out there.
There are opportunities to work part time with small companies by networking on freelance sites, or to set up professional translation services using remote call centres and Skype.
Example – Cloudwords
Cloudwords is one of the many companies that is taking advantage of the $30billion that is spent worldwide on translation related products or services. This is one of the more complex work from home ideas out there, simply because from day 1, it’s likely clients will be small to medium sized businesses trying to negotiate deals abroad. The market it is there, now you just need to find your niche.
