Transcom is one the leading group of companies in Bangladesh. It started its journey with tea plantation in 1885. Currently, employing over 13500 employee.

Transcom’s history stretches back to 1885, with a foundation of unwavering ethical values, business excellence, and the push to keep evolving ourselves over time. Having started with Tea Plantations, today, Transcom Group is one of Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified business conglomerates, which prides itself on being run by professionals. Soon after the nationalization of the family’s businesses after Bangladesh’s independence in 1971, Founder Chairman Mr. Latifur Rahman started to build Transcom from scratch. Today, Transcom has businesses involved in high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverages, distribution, media, and electronics whilst maintaining decades-long partnerships with some of the world’s largest blue-chip multinationals.
