BESTSELLER FWD>>ENV 2030 Programme Officially Kicks Off with ERI
We are proud to announce the official kickoff of the BESTSELLER FWD>>ENV 2030 Programme, in partnership with BESTSELLER, marking another important step towards building a more resource-efficient, resilient, and low-carbon apparel supply chain.
Through this programme, ERI will support BESTSELLER’s supply chain partners across key areas including decarbonization, resource and process efficiency, water stewardship, energy performance, sustainable production, and technical capacity building.
The programme commenced with welcome and opening remarks from Hakan Mehmet Tuzun, Chief Representative – Global Supply Chain, BESTSELLER, followed by an introduction to the programme by Dewan Muhammad Nurul Islam, Chemical & Environment Manager – Global Supply Chain. Hani Selim, Environmental Program Manager – Global Supply Chain, also shared his insights with the participants virtually from Denmark.
Representing ERI and its leadership, Shaikh Akber Hakim, Managing Director, SCS, ERI & IRI, delivered a strategic presentation, followed by focused technical sessions led by ERI’s expert consultants.
The sessions covered critical areas including resource consumption, process efficiency, thermal and electrical assessments, advanced energy-saving technologies, RTIS, and the programme’s assessment methodology, bringing together practical expertise, data-driven solutions, and actionable pathways for improvement.
The programme also featured the Greener Garments Initiative (GGI), presented by Syed Ishtiaque Ahmed, Director – Innovation & Engineering, ME SOLshare Ltd., and Technical Director, GGI, highlighting the role of innovative clean-energy solutions in accelerating sustainable transformation across the apparel industry.
With strong collaboration, technical expertise, and a shared vision, BESTSELLER and ERI are working together to accelerate meaningful sustainability action across the supply chain, towards a more resource-efficient, low-carbon, and future-ready apparel industry.
