System Administrator (Full-time | On-site)

Limda Host is looking for a capable and hands-on System Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our infrastructure operations. The role involves working across on-premise and cloud environments, supporting production systems, and collaborating closely with technical support and development teams. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka.
Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, manage, and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, storage, and networking
- Support infrastructure architecture decisions with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Manage and operate virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Handle advanced troubleshooting for system outages, performance issues, and security-related incidents
- Work closely with L1/L2/L3 support teams and act as an escalation point when required
- Implement and maintain system hardening, access control, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
- Monitor system logs, alerts, and security events to ensure system stability and protection
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Manage monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity
- Analyze system performance metrics and proactively prevent recurring issues
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes
- Participate in system upgrades, deployments, capacity planning, and infrastructure improvements
Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows Server administration
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers)
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Practical experience with virtualization and container technologies
- Working knowledge of automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Understanding of system security best practices and incident response
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues in live environments
- Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Minimum 3 years of system administration or infrastructure-related experience
