The phrase “Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease”
- gives a powerful promise of hope. The word ‘usr means difficulty, hardship and distress, while yusr means ease, relief and comfort.

- In the context of this Surah, Allah teaches that a believer should remain conscious of Allah and observe His commands even during difficult circumstances. Taqwa becomes a means through which Allah creates ease in a person's affairs.

- The expression “after hardship, ease” does not mean that a believer will never experience difficulty. Rather, it teaches that hardship is not permanent. Allah has the power to transform difficult circumstances into ease and relief.

“নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কষ্টের পর স্বস্তি এনে দেবেন।”
এখানে ‘উসর (عُسْر) অর্থ কষ্ট, সংকট, অসুবিধা ও সংকীর্ণতা। আর ইউসর (يُسْر) অর্থ সহজতা, স্বস্তি, প্রশস্ততা ও সমস্যার সমাধান।
- সূরা আত-তালাকের এই আয়াতের প্রেক্ষাপটে আল্লাহ তাআলা মুমিনকে শিক্ষা দিচ্ছেন—মানুষ যখন কঠিন পরিস্থিতির সম্মুখীন হয়, তখন তার উচিত তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করা, আল্লাহর নির্দেশ মেনে চলা এবং তাঁর ওপর ভরসা রাখা। এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ তার জন্য কঠিন বিষয়গুলো সহজ করে দিতে পারেন।

"إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ"

নিশ্চয়ই নেককারগণ থাকবে প্রভূত নেয়ামতের মধ্যে।
- আল-ইনফিতার (আয়াত ১৩) এবং সূরা আল-মুতাফফিফীন (আয়াত ২২)

তাফসীরে ইবনে কাছিরে এ আয়াতের ব্যাখ্যায় বলা হয়েছে:

- আবরার (الأبرار) বা নেককার হলেন তাঁরা, যারা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করেন, তাঁর দেওয়া ফরজ বিধানসমূহ সঠিকভাবে পালন করেন এবং যাবতীয় পাপাচার ও নিষেধ থেকে নিজেকে মুক্ত রাখেন।

- 'নাঈম' (نعيم) বা নিয়ামতের স্বরূপ: এখানে 'নাঈম' বলতে জান্নাতের অসীম ও চিরস্থায়ী সুখ-শান্তিকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। নেককার মুমিনদের জন্য আখিরাতে থাকবে এমন সব নেয়ামত, যা কোনো চোখ কখনো দেখেনি, কোনো কান শুনেনি এবং কোনো মানুষের হৃদয়ে তার কল্পনাও আসেনি।

- দুনিয়া ও বরজখের প্রশান্তি: তাফসিরকারকদের মতে, নেককার মানুষ কেবল আখেরাতেই নয়, বরং ইমানের বরকতে দুনিয়ার জীবনে সৎকর্মের মাধ্যমে এবং কবরেও (বরজখ জীবনে) এক ধরনের মানসিক প্রশান্তি ও নেয়ামতের মধ্যেই অবস্থান করেন।
