Most of us don’t go for a health checkup because we feel sick,
We go because we don’t want to get sick.
Over the past few days, something interesting has been happening. After submitting proposals and, few initial conversations with business leaders, I have noticed a shift.
Earlier, when I spoke about cybersecurity, the response was often:
Not now OR We will look into it later OR We don't have budget.
But now, the tone is different. People are asking questions. Serious questions.
🎯 How do we know if our systems are already exposed?
🎯 Are our employees actually aware of the risks?
🎯 Is our current setup truly secure, or just compliant on paper?
It reminds me of how people treat their personal health. Most of us don’t go for a checkup because we feel sick. We go because we don’t want to get sick.
Businesses are starting to think the same way. Not reacting after an incident,
but trying to understand their condition before something goes wrong, and that’s a healthy sign.
Because in cybersecurity, the biggest advantage is not technology,
it’s awareness.
✅ Awareness of where you stand.
✅ Awareness of what your people know (or don’t know).
✅ Awareness of how prepared you really are.
I am seeing more organizations take that first step quietly, seriously, without waiting for a crisis to force the decision. If this mindset continues, we will see fewer surprises… and stronger businesses.
Curious to see how many organizations are already thinking this way.
