We are looking for a Software Engineer II to build and maintain our backend services and Web applications. โ€ข Build and maintain features in Laravel (PHP) applications โ€” controllers, services, Eloquent models, migrations, queues, and REST APIs.
โ€ข Develop backend services and APIs in Node.js.
โ€ข Design and consume APIs between microservices.
โ€ข Work with MySQL โ€” schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
โ€ข Containerize and run services using Docker and Docker Compose, and debug issues inside running containers.
โ€ข Collaborate through Git using branches, pull requests, and code review.
โ€ข Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot on Linux/Unix servers over SSH.
โ€ข Write clean, tested, and reviewable code.

Post accounting data into XERO software in line with audit and external user requirements.
Create and maintain attachments for all transactions within XERO.
Organize and maintain financial documents and electronic files related to XERO transactions.
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries from XERO data.
Provide general support to the finance and accounts team, particularly with Qorum & XERO-related tasks.

โ€ข Prepare/supervise quotation for ground handling services/flight permission.
โ€ข Administer database, including but not limited to:

โ€ข Prepare over fright/ Landing permission applications to the Civil Aviation Authority.
โ€ข Ensure timely acquisition of Landing and overflight permissions from the Civil Aviation Authority.
โ€ข Coordinate all Ground Handling services for punctual operations.
โ€ข Monitor and supervise non-scheduled flights on the ground from arrival to departure.
