Phantom Blade Zero is shaping up to be one of the most interesting action games on PS5.
Dark Wuxia atmosphere, fast and brutal combat, impressive weapon techniques and a story built around Soul, a warrior with only 66 days left to live.
The combat definitely brings Sekiro and other action games to mind, but Phantom Blade Zero has its own identity — it feels like playing through a high-budget kung-fu movie.
And one detail I only recently discovered: Donnie Yen was involved as a creative consultant for the combat system, while also contributing facial and motion capture work for Mo Yuan. That alone makes the martial arts direction even more interesting.
If S-Game delivers on the combat, bosses and world design, this could be something special.
Phantom Blade Zero — definitely one to keep an eye on. ⚔️
