What are throwaway mailboxes?
You can think of a throwaway mailbox as an extension to your mailbox, which looks like this: mailbox+[email protected] (e.g. johndoe+[email protected]).
An important part of the address is the "+" sign - it signifies that it is a throwaway address.
There is no need for you to create or manage a throwaway mailbox; you can simply use it in any situation where you are required to provide an email address.
It may be expected that when email is received, a new folder will be created for the throwaway mailbox. However, on our platform, incoming emails are immediately directed to the Inbox instead.
