Your next power bill is going to look pretty reasonable.
Mild weather, no aircon, heaters off, longer days. Spring bills are the softest ones you get all year, and that is exactly why almost nobody does anything about solar right now.
Then it is summer. The aircon has been running for weeks, the bill turns up, and suddenly it is urgent.
The catch is that a system you decide on in summer does nothing for you until it is actually on the roof and switched on. Quote, design, paperwork, grid approval, install. All of that has to happen first, and it happens at the time of year when everybody else has had the same thought at the same time.
Spring is the boring time to sort this out. It is also the sensible one.
Go and look at what your bill did between January and March last year. That is the number worth planning around, not the one turning up this month.
