So… Canva dropped a bunch of shiny new AI features last night 👀

And instead of pretending I fully understood all of it immediately (I did not), I’ve been clicking buttons, poking around, and seeing what actually works in real life.

Some of it is very cool and some of it is going to save a lot of time once you know where to find it.

I’ve pulled together a quick carousel to show you where these new AI features are hiding and how to actually access them.

Canva and I are still in a very committed relationship… but lately it feels like living with someone who keeps rearranging the kitchen drawers 😅

You know the forks are here. They’ve always been here.

WHY are they suddenly over there??

If you’ve opened Canva recently and thought, “hang on… where did styles and layouts go?” you’re not alone.

I’ve put together a quick video to show you exactly where they’ve moved to (no emotional support required… maybe just a deep breath).

Because yes, they’ve moved again but once you know where to look, it actually makes sense.

Just spotted Canva’s new Magic Layer feature and it's a winner.

You can now take a flat image and Canva will automatically break it into editable layers. So instead of starting from scratch, you can click on individual elements in the image and tweak them. Move them, edit them, change them.

This is huge for anyone working with templates, screenshots, or any image where normally everything is “baked in”.

Basically:
• Add an image
• Click Edit
• Hit Magic Layer
• Canva separates the design into editable pieces

Honestly, Canva keeps adding tools that make design feel a lot less fiddly and a lot more fun.
