In-person events are coming back, stronger than ever.
After the COVID hiatus, during which in-person encounters became almost a societal taboo and digital use increased massively, especially among businesses, there is a growing need to return to analogue experiences.
And who says that an online business can't do that successfully?
One of our clients, eMed Specialist, is a telehealth provider offering specialist consultations in psychiatry, paediatrics, geriatrics and more, Australia-wide.
In a country like Australia, where geographical distances can make access to specialist healthcare difficult, services like eMed play an important role in connecting patients with specialists through referrals from their local medical practices.
But at the heart of this network of referrals and patients are the local GPs and healthcare professionals who take care of their communities every day.
And this is precisely why eMed organised its Gratitude Gala on Saturday 10 October at Shellharbour Civic Centre: to thank the doctors, medical practices and clinical partners who contribute to the wellbeing of our community.
As eMed's marketing partner, we were delighted to attend.
And circling back to our initial point, in-person events are important because professionals need opportunities to meet, exchange experiences, have a laugh, share a meal and spend time together outside the formalities of their day-to-day work.
eMed did a fantastic job of organising an evening that was both celebratory and genuinely hospitable, with traditional attire, games that had everyone laughing and plenty of dancing.
We think it's a fantastic initiative for businesses to organise occasions like this, where professionals within an industry can meet, exchange ideas, strengthen their relationships and, most importantly, have some fun outside the office.
Congratulations to the entire eMed Specialist team, and thank you for having us!
