TechnoSavvy Solutions

TechnoSavvy Solutions TechnoSavvy is mobile computer, phone & technology setup & support for home and small business. Servicing the Albury / Wodonga & surrounding regions

We are technology specialists passionate about what we do! Our expertise
TechnoSavvy is a locally owned small business, dedicated to working with other local businesses to give them a competitive edge. Using technology to its greatest potential will save you time and money (and your sanity!) if set up correctly. With 10 years experience, we have just about seen and heard it all. “I hate computers

”, “It’s so slow!”, “Why doesn't it just work?” and some others that can’t be written here. But the one thing in common is the frustration that occurs when the machine you use everyday breaks down and stops you from working – you just want it fixed! What sets us apart is our ability to listen to you and speak in easy to understand terms, (also known as the English language) – not geek speak. We listen to your frustrations and complaints and then put mechanisms in place to reduce them. Computers and their accompanying systems are like a car. Be it new or old, your computer needs regular servicing for it to run well. New oil and filters are the equivalent of updates and virus protection. Without these your computer will cease to work and you may end up seizing the ‘engine’, a problem we all would like to avoid. Our clients are small and medium businesses struggling to keep up with the advancements in technology. They include retail, community groups, schools, aged care and basically anyone who uses a computer. Our customers are local mum’s and dad’s, grandparents, aunts and uncles with a desire to keep up with the times but lack the know-how or family connections to get them started. We are TechnoSavvy and you can be too! Our services
Our services are much more than plugging in cables and walking away. As users of technology ourselves, we fundamentally understand how it can work for you and also make life difficult when it fails. We talk with you, not at you, use terms and words that make sense and never bamboozle you with tech terms to look superior. Our consultation services are second to none, as we work on solutions to fit your business needs, timelines and budget. We offer complete business set up and monitoring services, help-desk and tech support along with home office/residential connectivity. Our vision
We believe that by making technology accessible for all businesses small or large, we are contributing to the success of our region, and most importantly, your business. If you want to know more about us click here to follow our blog. You will find all sorts of interesting advancements in technology – including the weird and the wonderful!

Windows 7 End Of Life could effect your Office365 Subscription. Need Assistance? Contact Technosavvy

Windows 7 will be out of support after January 14, 2020. Because Office 365 is governed by the Modern Lifecycle Policy, customers are required to stay current as per the servicing and system requirements for the product or service. This includes using Office 365 ProPlus on a Windows operating system that is currently in support.
Using Office 365 ProPlus on older, unsupported operating systems may cause performance and reliability issues over time. If your organization is using Office 365 ProPlus on devices running Windows 7, we strongly recommend your organization move those devices to Windows 10.

TIME TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS
In February 2018, the diet and exercise service MyFitnessPal suffered a data breach. The incident exposed 144 million unique email addresses alongside usernames, IP addresses and passwords stored as SHA-1 and bcrypt hashes (the former for earlier accounts, the latter for newer accounts). In 2019, the data appeared listed for sale on a dark web marketplace (along with several other large breaches) and subsequently began circulating more broadly.

***BE SAFE AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS OFTEN***
