The full extent of the compromised accounts is not yet known, but the types of logins compromised include Apple, Facebook, Google, Github, Zoom and Twitch platforms just to name a few...

It is more important than ever to have good security practices and smart password hygiene!

Stay safe! If you are concerned please change your passwords, enable 2FA/MFA, and use a reputable Password Manager to ensure you stay safe.

NOTICE: Telstra Business NBN Outage

If you are having trouble getting hold of a business on the phone at the moment, this could be why...

If you are one of those businesses dealing with these outages we empathise, and suggest you contact Lightning IP and get your internet and phone services moved to a local provider who actually cares.

Bonus is, they also won't randomly push out firmware updates to your modem that kill your phone and internet connection for days.

And if you need help moving off of Bigpond's emails or reconfiguring your network, be sure to give us a call and we can help with the transition.

⚠ Urgent Security Warning: Optus Customers ⚠

Customers, please be aware Optus has recently been the victim of a cyber-attack on their servers, resulting in a MAJOR breach of Optus customers indentity data.

The CEO of Optus has confirmed that “This impacts Optus customers dating back to 2017."

"Customers’ names, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, driver’s licence numbers, passport numbers or addresses could have been accessed in the attack”

⚠️ OUTAGE NOTIFICATION ⚠️
Customers, please be aware there is currently a bug that has arisen in a recent update to the Microsoft Outlook application.

PRODUCT:
* Microsoft Outlook (version 2104 build 13929.20372)

IMPACT :
* Sending: This may result in text vanishing when pressing 'enter' trying to send new emails.
* Receiving: This may result in the content of received emails not being visible or only partially visible.

WORKAROUND:
* Webmail services are not impacted, so you can use that in the interim until the fix is released.
* Rolling back the MS Office software to an earlier version will also remove the issue for now.

MS are currently working on a fix and will push this update out automatically.
