The South Australian State Government today announced a 6 day lockdown of our state from 12.01am 19th November until 11:59pm Tuesday 24th November to help prevent the spread of a COVID-19 cluster.

Our business provides essential maintenance and repairs to many essential sectors including food, food service, hospitals, defence, government and agriculture.

We will remain open and of service to you during the lockdown period, however, we request that you respect requirements of sanitation, the wearing of face masks and social distancing in your dealings with us.

Electric Motor Rewinder

Gawler Motor Rewinders requires an Experienced Electric Motor Rewinder for our workshop in Gawler.

The applicant should have the following:
• Experience in the winding of AC and DC Machines (desirable)
• Experience in the Overhauling of all size AC & DC Machines
• Electrical trade certificate (desirable)
• Licenced electrician (desirable)
• Current drivers’ licence
• Generator Experience (desirable)
• Commitment to compliance of Company practices and procedures
• Have an outstanding commitment to safety, work autonomously or in a group and have excellent communication skills
• Dedication to product performance
• Good presentation and effective organisation and communication skills

Required Skills
This role would suit a self-motivated Electric Motor Fitter/ Rewinder.
Knowledge on connections and data taking of both AC & DC windings would be advantageous.
Availability to work overtime if and when required and a strong commitment to safety and dedication to following Occupational Health and Safety requirements are essential.
Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, as well as relevant police and employment background checks shall be conducted.
Initially casual, transition to permanent role with some overtime available offered to the right applicant.
