HAPPY CLIENT!

I first came across Sam after my desktop stopped working. Immediately Sam and his colleague offered a visit to my clinic to review what was going on. Following that they did a complete review, visited again at a time that was outside of work hours due to my work schedule and accomodated my schedule with no hesitation.

After that great service I felt like I could leave it all up to them and I did not worry at all. When my new computer and monitor were delayed Sam quickly made an office visit and hooked up my laptop to my printer to keep me working until my new systems were ready to go.

I am now a loyal customer and will be letting Sam and his team work with my business in the future!!!

🔒 Stay Alert: Email Scams Are Getting Smarter

At BizPlus, we’re seeing a rise in sophisticated scam emails targeting local businesses — and some of them look very convincing.

A recent example claimed that another company was trying to trademark a business name and urged the recipient to “act fast” or risk legal trouble. It even referenced the Australian Trade Marks Act 1995, listed supposed consequences like cease-and-desist orders, and provided an official-sounding phone number for “urgent action.”

🚩 Here are some red flags to watch for:

Unexpected emails pressuring you to act quickly
Claims about trademarks, legal threats, or someone “applying for your business name”
Overly detailed explanations of laws to sound authoritative
Requests to reply immediately or call a number you’ve never seen
Companies you’ve never engaged with claiming to represent you

If you receive something like this, don’t panic and don’t respond. Instead:
✔ Verify the sender
✔ Contact the organisation directly using their official website
