AI is starting to make sales calls. That does not mean it belongs at the front of every sales process.

For outbound calls, the problem is trust. The moment someone hears an AI voice selling to them, many will look for a reason to end the call.

From what we've seen working with clients at Mindesigns, the better use case is often inbound and operations-led.

→ Appointment booking
→ Missed call follow-up
→ Confirmations and reminders
→ Simple qualification

These are areas where AI voice agents can help without forcing a cold prospect into an awkward sales conversation.

Tools from companies like Bland AI, Retell AI, and Synthflow AI are pushing this space forward, especially for businesses with high call volume in healthcare, trades, home services, education, and appointment-based B2C.

For B2B sales, the rule we give our clients is simpler. Let AI support the process but keep humans in the moments where credibility matters most.

If your sales process is leaking opportunities before the close, we show you where to fix it in the guide linked in the comments. 👇

We were invited by the Queensland Government to the 2026 Regional Enablers (REP) Summit and SomethingQ in Brisbane, held during Something Fest. week, with Omer Bernstein representing us.

We're thankful the conversation at the roundtable was so warm and open. Minister for Science and Innovation Andrew Powell MP GAICD, Director-General Patricia O'Callaghan and A/Deputy Director-General Innovation Wietske S. listened to the concerns and recommendations the regions brought into the room. It was great to see them so open to our ideas, and a real pleasure to find they agreed with our direction.

Mindesigns was one of 15 Regional Enablers from across the state, and being counted among them reflects the work our team has been putting into building digital capability across our region. Being part of shaping the future digital landscape tells us the regions are being taken seriously.

Thank you to the Queensland Government, Queensland Innovation, and to Jacqueline Steel, Sean Cranny and Carmel Crathern from the Sector Development team in the Innovation Division at the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation. The work you're doing to support the regions is making a real difference, and we're grateful to be part of it.

Cold outreach fails when it feels like no research was done.
HubSpot 's AI prospecting agent points to where sales outreach is heading.

It can review public information about a lead, including their role, company news, and relevant context before a message is drafted. That means your team can start with something more specific than the same template sent to every contact.

Here's what we tell our clients at Mindesigns. The value is not the email itself. The value is preparation at scale.

Buyers can tell when an outreach message was written for anyone. They can also tell when it reflects something specific about their situation.

From the work we do with B2B sales and marketing teams, AI is most useful when it helps reps do three things.

→ Prepare better
→ Follow up faster
→ Stay relevant without turning the process into spam

Do you plan to use AI in your prospecting or outreach? We wrote a guide on how to use AI booking agents without scaring customers away.

AI can generate content fast. That does not mean it should go live fast.

This is where we see many teams get into trouble. They connect an AI tool to their content or ad workflow, generate a set of visuals or copy options, and publish without enough review.

The output might look fine at first glance. But we've watched it miss the audience, flatten the brand voice, or push the wrong message.

AI should speed up production while keeping judgment in the process.

Your role is the strategic filter. Before anything represents your business, someone still needs to ask if it is accurate, on brand, and useful to the buyer.

Across the campaigns we manage at Mindesigns, the strongest results come when AI helps produce more options and humans decide what deserves to go live.

→ AI expands what's possible
→ Humans decide what's right

Your next buyer may not find you through a Google search first.

They may ask ChatGPT , Gemini, Perplexity, or another AI tool to explain the problem, compare options, and suggest who they should look at.

We've been tracking this shift closely with our own clients at Mindesigns, and it changes the role of your website.

Recent research from Semrush and Adobe points to the same thing. AI tools are becoming part of the buying journey, and traffic from AI sources is already behaving differently from traditional search traffic.

For B2B companies, this creates a gap. Many websites were built around keywords. AI visibility depends more on clear answers, strong proof, and a consistent position around the topics your buyers care about.

From what we've seen, the companies getting found early are doing two things well.

→ They answer the real questions buyers actually ask
→ They position the business as a credible expert in a specific area

To help our clients get ahead of this, we developed a 5 step process to increase your chances of being recommended by AI. Link in the comments. 👇

AI works best in marketing when it multiplies what your team already knows.

That's the biggest lesson we've learned building AI into our clients' marketing processes at Mindesigns.

Used well, AI helps you turn one strong idea into more useful outputs across LinkedIn, email, ads, landing pages, and sales enablement.

The mistake we see most often? Teams using AI as the starting point.

Your strongest content still comes from your data, your client results, and your point of view. AI can package and distribute that thinking, but it can't create the substance from scratch.

We've watched this play out across our B2B client work, and the pattern is consistent:

→ Better inputs lead to better content
→ Better systems help that content travel further

The teams winning with AI aren't replacing human insight. They're building systems that make that insight go further.

Most teams still treat LinkedIn like a reach channel. From what we're seeing, AI search is quietly turning it into something bigger.

Semrush 's research on AI citations found that LinkedIn is one of the sources AI tools frequently pull from when answering professional and brand-related questions.

We've been testing this with our own clients at Mindesigns, and it lines up with what we're seeing in the wild: the posts that get cited aren't always the ones with the most likes.

The posts that help AI understand your business are clear, specific, and consistent. They explain what you do, who you help, and how you think about the problems in your category.

That's a real opening for B2B brands right now. While your competitors chase short-term engagement, you can build a LinkedIn presence that makes your expertise legible to both people and AI tools.

Here's the part we find most interesting: human authority and AI visibility are starting to reward the same things.
→ Specific topics
→ Original insight
→ Consistency over time

AI can help you sell better, but only when you know where it actually fits in the sales process.

For our upcoming How to Boost Sales Using AI session, we’re bringing together two speakers who understand both sides of the equation: sales strategy and AI-powered ex*****on.

Omer Bernstein, Head of Marketing and Sales at Mindesigns, will break down the three moments that shape almost every sales conversation: the open, the middle, and the close.

Jacob Todd, Partner Development Manager at HubSpot, will show how new AI features can support each stage of that cycle, from starting more conversations to keeping prospects engaged and moving deals forward.

This session is designed for directors, heads of sales and marketing, and business owners who want to see how AI can help create a more consistent pipeline, improve conversions, and reduce the admin that keeps teams away from buyers.

Inter Miami’s retro AI-generated photos around Messi show where creative production is heading.

For many brands, AI can help create campaign visuals faster and more affordably, without needing a full photoshoot, studio, set or large production budget every time.

The real opportunity is not replacing creativity. It is giving marketing teams more ways to test ideas, move faster and create visuals that still feel polished, memorable and on brand.

AI is changing the cost of creative production.

For many campaigns, brands no longer need a full photoshoot, studio, set and production team just to create strong visual assets.

By combining real brand images with AI-generated scenes, businesses can create polished campaign visuals faster and more affordably, while still keeping the final result aligned with the brand.

The real value is not just saving money. It is giving marketing teams the ability to test more ideas, produce more content and move faster without sacrificing quality.
