I am excited to invite you to the Rotary e-Club Nextgen's Changeover Lunch at the Wauchope RSL Club on the 14th of July. The event will begin with a gathering at 10:00 AM for a 10:30 AM start, and lunch will be served around 12:00 PM.

Our club has achieved remarkable milestones this year, and as a valued member of our community, I would be honored to have you join us for the installation of our new board and my induction as the new President. This Changeover Luncheon provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the impactful work our club and Rotary International accomplish through the Rotary Foundation.

Rotary e-Club Nextgen and Rotary International are dedicated to addressing critical issues both locally and globally. Through the Rotary Foundation, we have supported numerous projects, including outfitting a hospital in Cameroon, Africa, and installing lighting at outback airstrips to enable safe landings for Royal Flying Doctor Service aircraft, ensuring timely medical care for remote communities.

This year's changeover will be unique as it will take place simultaneously at two venues: Diamond Island Resort in Tasmania and the Wauchope RSL Club. Both locations will be connected via Zoom, allowing overseas guests to join in the celebration virtually.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Australian music legend, Ignatius Jones, aged 67. Known for his charismatic presence as the frontman of Jimmy and the Boys, Ignatius left an indelible mark on the music scene with his pioneering spirit and unforgettable performances. He passed away peacefully last night in Iloilo City, Philippines, after a short illness.

Ignatius's contributions to the arts went beyond his music; as an artistic director, he brought creativity and innovation to festivals and events across Australia. His talent, passion, and vision will be sorely missed by fans, friends, and family alike.

Today, we lose not just a musician but a cultural icon whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
