5 tips for mastering front wash.

Front wash is the most important light on your stage, the primary directional light on faces, and the one your cameras depend on.

Nail the angle. Mind your shadows. Lock one colour temperature. Build a cue/preset stack. Light for the camera, not just the room.

3 LED screen buying tips.

Consider these 3 things, when looking for a LED screen.

1. Size: For most churches buying a LED screen about the size of your existing projector screen can still bring an impressive impact while bringing significant savings.

2. What pixel pitch is right for my auditorium?: Think of pixel pitch as the screen resolution. The smaller the number, the better the resolution. For your venue, it all comes down to the viewing distance, or how far between the screen and your audience.

3. How will the LED screen be setup?: Consider how it will be installed, will it be hung on a wall or flown on truss or lighting bar? There are many different types of panels available for your context. Whether you're packing down each week, a permanent fixture, or looking for something in between. These factors all contribute to the type of panel you need.
