I created the Horse Services directory because I often found it difficult to find horse service providers in my local area. Word of mouth tends to be the way horse people find service providers so I thought it would be a good idea to collect a list of providers and keep them on hand. And when I'd visit my local horse store, I'd always collect the business cards displayed on the counter and I have
quite a collection sitting in my draw. The other way I found services was by searching online, but what I really wanted was a directory where everyone was listed in one place. Yes, did find a couple of horse service directories, but they were not particularly user friendly and contained far more services then I needed. What I really wanted was just the basic services that a regular horse owner needed, such as equines vets, saddle fitters, farriers, dentists and some alternative therapy services like Chiro and Massage etc. That gave me the idea to create a user friendly directory, with only those basic services that I needed. It's free to use and free for service providers to be included in the directory. It doesn't list every type of horse service such as breeding for example. I've added 9 categories that I believe are the most widely sought after by regular horsey folk. Camping/Trail Riding
