Silvertone Electronics is the iconic Australian producer of hobby remote control systems from the 1960's and 1970's, having moved into the production of unpiloted aircraft from the 1970's. First established in 1958 with a focus on remote control and automation, Silvertone now specialises in Spectrum Analysers, Two-Way Radio, Electronic Counter-surveillance Systems, Software-Defined Radio and gener

al Test & Measurement. We are the exclusive distributor within Australia and New Zealand for both Signal Hound and Kestrel products and have been since 2014 and 2015 respectively. Silvertone has developed a number of imaging and communications payloads for UAVs for use in agriculture and the emergency sector. Silvertone stocks high-end two way radio and USB based test equipment, including Signal Hound spectrum analysers, NUAND Software Defined Radios, Bitscope DSO and Virtins Technologies test equipment. We are also distributors of Vero Technologies prototyping equipment.
