🏢 From Faded to Fresh: Exterior Building Rejuvenation in Caulfield North

Years of weather exposure had left this body corporate building with deteriorating paintwork and areas requiring minor render repairs.

A weathered commercial building in Glen Iris needed more than a fresh coat of paint. Its rendered and non-rendered exterior surfaces also needed reliable protection from Melbourne’s changing weather.

Commercial Roof Waterproofing & Rust Protection in Mulgrave

A leaking, rusting commercial roof can quickly become a bigger problem, especially when the building is in constant use.

That was the challenge for Alsco Uniforms in Mulgrave. Their 4,400 m² roof had active leaks, spreading rust and a constant build-up of lint from extraction vents.

Melbourne Protective Coatings tackled the issues with thorough roof preparation, reinforcement, StormShield Essentials waterproofing measures and two full coats of Noxyde Anti-Corrosion Waterproofing Membrane.

With lint continuing to settle during the work, additional cleaning was needed between coating stages to help ensure proper adhesion.

For the Goodyear Auto Braeside conversion, Melbourne Protective Coatings was tasked with transforming the interior and exterior of the former Beaurepaires site to meet Goodyear's corporate brand standards.

Achieving the result required more than applying new paint. Surfaces were carefully cleaned and prepared before a three-coat coating system was applied throughout the building.

High-access areas were completed using a 32-foot scissor lift, helping maintain consistent workmanship across elevated sections.

The Box Hill TAFE pedestrian bridge is used every day by thousands of students, staff and visitors, making long-term protection essential. Extreme Rust Restoration For A Fairfield Commercial Roof

A Fairfield commercial roof was affected by widespread rust, active leaks and ongoing deterioration, placing building operations at risk. To avoid the high cost and disruption of a full replacement, Melbourne Protective Coatings delivered a complete Noxyde System roof restoration instead.

Works included pressure washing, re-fixing loose sheets and fasteners, sealing deteriorated box gutters, and reinforcing all joints and penetrations.

Two coats of Noxyde Anti-Corrosion Waterproofing Membrane were applied, forming a seamless waterproof barrier that stops further rust and moisture ingress. High-risk areas were reinforced with waterproofing tape for added durability.
