Inspirational women in history: Margaret Bourke-White was the first foreign photographer permitted to take pictures of Soviet industry under the Soviets' first five-year plan, as the first American female war photojournalist. She also spent years traveling the world, covering major events from World War II to the partition of India and Pakistan, the Korean War, to name a few.

Margaret Bourke-White held numerous “firsts” in her professional life. Including photo from one of the eagles on the 61st floor of the Chrysler Building in New York City in 1934!
