Use your extra monitors...
There are many high-res screens available for reasonable prices.
These can let you spread out your workload like never before.
I highly recommend 32" 4K displays as you will be able to get 4 times the space on each monitor!

Don't trust cheap inverters - this Jaycar device almost cost me some appliances!

AC power should be a nice smooth wave form, not a totally choppy one like this! This is only good for plain light bulbs or very well engineered power packs.

We are advocates for Microsoft products as a reseller and a concious user - this backs up many of the reasons I recommend Microsoft Edge, and reveals so much more about Google - excuse any immaturity of some of his content, but this is an accurate outline of what Google has become, and more of a reason in a business to choose the product with the right business model!

Warning to Subway franchisees

We found today a POS with a very simple drive failure that we could repair - we could reload Windows and make sure it works 100%, however Subway support could not assist us at all.

They will only support reloading their system with a pre-loaded image which we can download, but when the image refused to restore onto their own supported device they could not offer us any resolution.

If you have multiple stores, consider keeping a spare working unit - in the end this franchisee managed to obtain a spare from the DA but this is not always possible.

I've let Subway Support know what they should be obliged to do, but in the worst case looks like you'll be waiting for a week for a whole POS replacement.

In the old days when we provided Subway stores POS systems called MagicSub, we would have them running no matter what, where or how, and in the absolute worst case we would have overnighted a new system to get them going.

These systems are a store's livelihood and without them some stores cannot even open.

Way too long between posts!!!

Sorry to all our walk-in customers, it's been a year of onsite calls and jobs where we're not in the office as much.

We will post more about our new terms and upcoming changes ASAP.

In the meantime we urge businesses to investigate their broadband plans frequently - many customers are now eligible for free fibre-to-the-premises upgrades allowing residential properties to experience 1000 megabit links at a fraction of the business price.
