This is taking a lot out of me to post, but this is my story. This is my truth.
Behind the tattoos, artwork and everything you see online, Iām still human. Iām a father, a partner, a friend and someone with dreams, struggles and goals Iām still fighting to achieve.
Two years ago, I barely recognised myself.
I was severely underweight, barely eating, doing no exercise and had spent around a decade heavily relying on ma*****na. Mentally, I could feel myself heading down the same destructive roads Iād travelled before.
I had two choices: continue down a path I already knew the ending to, or change everything and fight for the person I knew I could become.
So I chose change.
Living with dissociative identity disorder has brought challenges throughout my life that most people will never see. Finding somewhere positive to channel that energy became fitness.
People see the physical transformation, but the mental gains outweigh every physical gain Iāve made.
Thatās why I train.
Thatās why I keep showing up.
Thatās why I refuse to stop.
After years of heavily using ma*****na, I knew that chapter also needed to end. I admitted myself into rehabilitation and cut it from my life completely.
Now, two years later, Iām still moving forward.
Iām forever grateful to everyone who stood beside me while I rebuilt myself. To those who couldnāt continue this journey with me, I hold no resentment. Sometimes growth means accepting that not everyone is meant to walk every chapter with you.
I just hope the people still here can look at how far Iāve come and feel proud.
But this isnāt the finish line.
I have a very specific goal in my sights over the next year, and I intend to reach it.
I havenāt come this far just to come this far.
Thereās still a stronger, healthier and more determined version of me waiting on the other side of this work.
You havenāt seen my peak yet.
And I wonāt stop until you do.
Thank you for listening to my story. š«
