Customer fitted a 2nd hand gearbox and ran into the dreaded Immobiliser safe lockout.

Any DQ200 in the MQB series contains Immobiliser data in the mechatronic.

Using our tools we where able to extract all Immobiliser data and Vin # and transfer it to the customers donor gearbox.

All that was left to do then was to complete all basic settings and get the car back on the road!

Customer just completed there patrol swap with the strong and notorious 4JJ1 all went well but they became stuck.
Being from a 2016 Dmax the ecu was immobiliser locked not allowing the car to start.

The customer sent us a message and we got to work.

We attended site and we where able to get it running.
• Immo off repair
• Dpf solution
• Egr solution
• Full engine remap

All done on site, no need for tow truck or wait times.

Customer complained ute was throwing a fault code.

On scan tool inspection we found the fault to be 2x injector lean fault codes.

Upon opening the bonnet we found a terribly installed DP chip.

We removed the chip and remapped tbe factory ecu without the need for a piggyback ecu.

Same day service with the ute back on the road!

Customer uses there BT50 a lot for towing.

We did a custom ECU tune and Transmission tune.
For our tow tune we do fit a custom Transmission cooler keeping the trans temps under 95 degrees.
Torque converter locks up a lot better, Alot less transmission flare and the gearbox is no longer hunting gears.
3 ton van transmission locks up into 5th gear with ease!

All these tunes are done on a dyno properly with before/after gains.

This is also possible for the Isuzu Dmax/Mux from 2016 onwards that have a Asin 6 speed Automatic.
