Paying for ChatGPT does not automatically mean you have a business AI account.

That distinction matters more than it sounds.

Personal AI accounts can have different privacy, training and data-handling settings from managed business workspaces. They may also be connected to email, cloud storage and other business systems.

The issue is not that AI is bad. It is incredibly useful.

The issue is making sure your business understands what accounts staff are using, what information they are putting into them, and who actually controls those settings.

What an incredible reminder this morning of just how much good is happening right here in our Townsville community.

Today’s feature presentation was from FEAT Townsville https://feat.org.au/, and it was inspiring to hear more about the work they do supporting people and families who need somewhere safe to go, including those trying to escape domestic and family violence.

They currently work with and manage more than 70 homes across Townsville for people in need, which is a huge contribution to our community.

If you have a rental property that isn’t quite working out the way you’d hoped, it could be well worth having a chat with the team at FEAT Townsville and seeing whether it could be put to good use.

Maybe your team is stuck using spreadsheets to track equipment, spending hours on a manual process, or doing something every week that everyone agrees should be easier.

Great catching up with CIC and seeing the work Townsville Youth Foyer is doing in the community. It was a real eye-opener to hear about the wrap around support they provide for young people, from accommodation and coaching through to personal support and life skills.

A great reminder of the impact local services can have, and the different ways businesses and individuals can get involved. Thanks to CIC for organising another valuable Member Meetup.
