The Regional and Remote Music Summit kicks off tomorrow, and we spent today sightseeing seeing in the beautiful city of Mount Gambier 🤍 Mount Gambier, you have our hearts!

It was so special to meet the amazing South Australian Sam Wright who put this whole thing together. (Not our Sam Wright, there’s another Sam Wright who lives in SA who we have now adopted into our extended family).

We’re so excited to spend the week alongside our industry peers who live and work in regional places. What an honour to be here.

We’re looking for a full-time AV Technician to join our team in Townsville, starting in 2027.

This role involves operating audio for live acts, corporate events, conferences and festivals, so we’re looking for someone with strong live sound skills who’s also happy to jump on lighting, vision and staging when needed. Previous live event or AV industry experience is essential.

The team just got a little bigger. Please welcome Oliver Pool our new Senior Lighting Technician.

Oli has come home to Townsville after 10 years in the industry, including time with one of Melbourne’s top production houses, lighting events like Melbourne Fashion Festival, City of Melbourne NYE and the Australian Open.

He brings strong grandMA programming and lighting systems skills, and we’re so stoked to have him on the crew.

Welcome home, Oli 🤘

Congratulations to our friends at North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA❤️) on winning the People’s Choice Award for Festival and Events: Major Event at this year’s North Queensland Tourism & Events Awards!

And huge congrats to our other incredible friends and clients who were also finalists tonight: Country Fest QLD | Townsville Dream Fields MIRW Cluden Park. We’re so proud to work with 5 of the 6 finalists in this category this year.

Our clients are like family, and we were honestly on the edge of our seats tonight. We’ve seen first hand the blood, sweat and tears that go into every one of these events: and the people who pour their hearts into making them happen. We’ll never take that for granted, and we feel so lucky to stand alongside them.

We’re constantly blown away by the calibre of events in this amazing city we’re lucky to call home. You should all be so proud. This year was a doozie. What will next year bring? We can’t wait!

Thanks so much to Simon Pope for these amazing shots from the Aus vs Brazil street party! 📸

Our dream team on the ground for the show: Simon on FOH audio, Sean Mostachetti on lighting and vision, and Fletcher Rewald on vision and general tech assist. Love a crew who stay calm no matter what's happening, and it doesn't hurt when one of them takes incredible photos too. 🙌

Huge thanks to Getbranded and Townsville City Council for having us.
