This is a power switch board from a Lenovo Yoga where the power button was stuffed. Replaced the board and also made sure the "Lenovo Flip To Boot" is enabled. What this does (and I think it is a good idea) is turn on the laptop once you lift the lid. This way you don't need to press the TURN ON button to fire it up.

This one was built two years ago and suddenly stopped going after 2 weeks. Customer dropped it in Saturday and it was picked up today. Ended up needing an updated load of Windows 11 plus removal of a faulty stick of RAM. All now going, to date and reliable.

Now in a partner program with a data recovery business that does full strip downs of computer drives in dust proof rooms to recover your important data from dead hard drives. Free quotes, costs only apply after the ok has been given once we have discussed what is recoverable. So if you have an old drive with valued photos etc, give me a call and we will get something arranged. This service is for what I can't do locally as I already do software recovery if the drive still works, they actually recover data from the platter itself.

Beware of this one getting around.
