Wet areas tend to be cooler than other areas of the structure due to evaporation and show as darker colors in the images. In this case, the water was very cold, making it even easier to detect. Note: It's always best to use a moisture meter to confirm findings as cold areas could be just cold - in this case, I was confident since drips were coming from the ceiling.
