Alhamdulillah — the time has finally come. 🤍

The moment I have been waiting for is finally here…

Tarjumah is officially LIVE! 🎉

After many months of hard work, challenges, setbacks, long nights and moments where I questioned whether I would ever reach this point, I can finally say that Tarjumah is now available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Tarjumah was created with a simple purpose: to help Muslims better understand and connect with their prayer by providing real-time translation of the Qur’an recitation into their chosen language.

This journey has been one of the many challenges I have faced in my life, but this one has truly taken its toll. There were so many moments when I could have given up — but Alhamdulillah, I kept going.

And today, I am incredibly proud of myself for making it to this moment. 🤍

I would genuinely love to hear from you. If you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, ideas for improvement or opportunities for collaboration, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me through any of my platforms.

Tarjumah is only just beginning, and I want to continue building it in a way that genuinely benefits the Ummah, InshaAllah.

May Allah ﷻ continue to make Tarjumah a means of khair, not only for myself and my children, but for Muslims around the world.

Allahumma ameen. 🤲🏼

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, believed in this vision and made this journey a little easier.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh 🤍

Alhamdulillah! I’m so incredibly happy and grateful to finally announce that my app is LIVE on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store! 🎉🤍

You can now download the app using the link below.

The app has been specifically designed with reverts and new Muslims in mind, but born Muslims can absolutely benefit from it too.

The purpose of the app is to support Muslims who may not understand the meaning of what is being recited in Arabic during salah.

🕌 Real-time translation during salah
The app can translate the imam’s recitation in real time directly into your ears through your earphones.

If you find listening to the translation distracting, you can simply place your phone in front of you and read the translation on the screen while the imam is reciting.

🏠 Use it at home too
You can also use the app when praying alone. Recite the Arabic you have memorised, and the app will translate the meaning for you in real time.

This is especially helpful if you’ve memorised portions of the Qur’an but don’t yet understand what those verses mean. You can finally connect the words you’ve memorised with their meaning. 🤍

📖 Learn how to pray
There are also features designed to help new Muslims learn how to perform salah, along with other helpful Islamic features.

And there’s even a cute AI feature that I think you’ll love! 🥰

I would absolutely LOVE for you all to download the app, try it out and give me your honest feedback. Your feedback will help me continue improving it.

And finally, JazakumAllahu Khairan to every single person who has supported me, encouraged me, made dua for me, tested things, given advice or simply believed in this project throughout the journey.

It has been a LONG road to get here, but Alhamdulillah, we made it. 🤍

Please download the app, give it a try and let me know what you think!

Build a deeper connection with their Salah, the Qur’an, and their faith through the power of technology.

Did you know Muslims can now understand the Arabic recitation of their prayer in their own language?

Tarjumah is designed to support Muslims who don’t understand the Arabic recitation of the Qur’an during salah.

Instead of standing in prayer and hearing words you don’t understand, you can hear their meaning in a language you understand — allowing you to reflect, connect, and truly understand what you are saying to Allah.

Because when you understand your prayer, you can pray with greater meaning, intention and serenity.

Tarjumah — helping you understand your prayer, so you can connect with it. 🤍

Helping Us Strengthen Our Salah 🤍

The Tarjumah application is more than just a tool for understanding the Qur’an. It also includes accurate prayer times to help you stay connected to your salah throughout the day.

And we’re not stopping there. 👀

We’re currently exploring some unique alarm features designed to encourage and support those who struggle to wake up for Fajr.

We know this is a struggle many of us face, and our hope is that Tarjumah can become a simple tool that helps the Ummah strengthen our relationship with salah, one prayer at a time. 🤲🏽

Stay tuned for what’s coming next, inshaAllah.

May Allah make us steadfast in our prayers and grant us the strength to rise for Fajr. Ameen. 🤍

I’m honestly so sick and tired of brothers coming to me saying, “How did you come to Islam through a man I bet?” ,,, followed by all these little comments and assumptions about Muslim sisters who are reverts.

And honestly, it couldn’t be further from the truth.

In my 16 years as a Muslim, from my own personal experience, I have only ever known one sister who left the deen.

Now, I’m not saying that represents every revert’s experience. But what I am saying is: stop making assumptions and stop judging people based on stereotypes.

And we also need to acknowledge something uncomfortable: sometimes sisters don’t leave Islam because they stopped believing in Islam. Sometimes, they are pushed away by the behaviour of Muslims themselves.

The way someone is spoken to.
The way they are judged.
The way their past is constantly brought up.
The way some brothers make assumptions about why a woman became Muslim.

You have no idea what is in someone’s heart. You are not Allah, and you are not the judge of someone’s intentions.

And before anyone thinks I’m only talking about born Muslims — this applies to reverts too.

Reverts, we cannot come into Islam and paint every born Muslim with the same brush because of one bad experience, one bad marriage, one bad brother, or one bad community.

There are good Muslims and there are bad Muslims. There are people with beautiful intentions and people with terrible intentions — regardless of whether they were born Muslim or embraced Islam later in life.

So let’s learn to hold our tongues, stop making assumptions, and stop judging one another.

Because at the end of the day, Allah knows what is in our hearts, not other humans.

May Allah keep all of us firm upon the deen, protect us from becoming a reason someone is pushed away from Islam, and purify our intentions. Ameen. 🤲🏽

Tarjumah is a revolutionary AI-powered translation app designed to help people understand the beauty and meaning of Islamic prayer in real time.

For the first time, Worshippers can attend congregational prayers behind the Imam at the mosque while Tarjumah uses advanced AI technology to translate the Arabic recitation into the English language and deliver the meaning directly through compatible Earpods.

For those who prefer not to use audio during prayer, Tarjumah also offers a text translation feature, allowing users to place their device in front of them and follow the translated meaning while listening to the beautiful recitation of the Qur’an.

Tarjumah is also designed to support those learning how to pray, including new Muslims, reverts, children, and anyone wanting to strengthen their connection with Salah. Through an innovative AI prayer avatar, users can follow along as the avatar demonstrates the movements and steps of the prayer, while Arabic recitation guides them through each stage creating an experience similar to learning by following an Imam.

Beyond prayer support, Tarjumah brings together essential Islamic tools in one place, including:
• The 99 Names of Allah
• Qibla direction
• Prayer times
• Educational Islamic content and short lectures
•daily Duaa
• Exciting future AI-powered integrations currently in development
•500 of the most common words in Quran

Tajumah’s mission is to bridge the gap between hearing and understanding — helping people build a deeper connection with their Salah, the Qur’an, and their faith through the power of technology.
