“As Muslims, we believe the Qur’an is the word of Allah. But here’s an important question: if we only follow the Qur’an and reject the Messenger, are we truly obeying Allah?

Allah says in Surah An-Nisa, 4:80:

‘He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.’

And in Surah Al-Hashr, 59:7:

‘Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you, refrain from it.’

The Sunnah teaches us how the Prophet ﷺ lived the Qur’an and how to practise our religion.

We don’t have to choose between the Qur’an and the Messenger ﷺ. Allah commands us to follow both.

May Allah guide us to the truth and make us among those who truly follow His Book and His Messenger. Ameen.”
