A Remarkable Success for the Syrian Expatriate Investors Forum in Sydney! 🇦🇺 🇸🇾

We at the Australian Syrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are proud, under the patronage of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and hosted by Mr. Mustafa Kresh, Vice President of the Chamber and owner of Armani Restaurant, to mark the successful completion of the Syrian Expatriate Investors Forum held in Parramatta on 13/04/2026.

This forum builds on the outstanding success of the first event held in Melbourne, which marked the official launch of the Chamber and its activities, drawing significant attendance and engagement—reflecting the growing presence and impact of the Syrian community in Australia.

Key highlights of the forum:
🔹 Valuable insights on investment opportunities and facilitation were presented by:
Dr. Adel Al-Shammari – Head of Investor Support, Department of Expatriate Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates
Eng. Talal Al-Hilali – Chairman of the Syrian Investment Authority
🔹 We were also honored by the حضور of renowned artist Mazen Al-Natour, representing the Artists’ Syndicate, adding a distinctive cultural dimension to the event
🔹 Engaging discussions and thoughtful questions reflected genuine interest in contributing to Syria’s development
🔹 Reaffirmation of the Chamber’s role in building trust and fostering economic collaboration between Australia and Syria

The event featured an insightful address by the Chamber’s President, Mr. Marwan Dabbagh, who emphasized the importance of unified efforts and the vital role expatriates play in supporting economic development and strengthening international collaboration.

The forum was also attended by the Grand M***i, alongside a distinguished group of prominent and well-known members of the community, further elevating the significance of the event.

This gathering marked an important step toward transforming the energy of our community into tangible partnerships and initiatives, and strengthening economic and investment ties.

نجاح متميز لندوة دعم المستثمرين السوريين في سيدني! 🇦🇺 🇸🇾

نعتز في غرفة التجارة والصناعة الأسترالية السورية، وبرعاية وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين السورية، وباستضافة السيد مصطفى كريش نائب رئيس الغرفة وصاحب مطعم أرماني، بنجاح ندوة دعم المستثمرين السوريين المغتربين التي أُقيمت في باراماتا بتاريخ 13/04/2026.

وقد جاءت هذه الندوة استكمالاً للنجاح الكبير الذي حققه الحدث الأول في ملبورن، والذي شهد إطلاق الغرفة وأنشطتها بحضور واسع ومميز، مما يعكس تنامي الحضور والدور الفاعل للجالية السورية في أستراليا.

أبرز ما جاء في الندوة:
🔹 رؤى قيمة حول فرص الاستثمار والتسهيلات قدمها كل من:
د. عادل الشمري: رئيس قسم دعم المستثمرين – إدارة شؤون المغتربين – وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين
م. طلال الهلالي: رئيس هيئة الاستثمار السورية
🔹 كما كان لنا شرف حضور الفنان مازن الناطور ممثلاً عن نقابة الفنانين، والذي أضفى حضورُه بُعداً ثقافياً مميزاً على اللقاء
🔹 تفاعل نوعي وأسئلة عكست اهتماماً حقيقياً بالمساهمة الفاعلة في التنمية
🔹 تأكيد على دور الغرفة في بناء جسور الثقة والتكامل الاقتصادي بين أستراليا وسوريا

تخلل اللقاء كلمة قيّمة لرئيس الغرفة السيد مروان دباغ، أكد فيها على أهمية توحيد الجهود وتعزيز دور المغتربين في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وبناء جسور التعاون.

كما شهدت الندوة حضور سماحة المفتي، إلى جانب نخبة من الشخصيات البارزة ووجوه معروفة من أبناء الجالية، مما أضفى على اللقاء طابعاً رسمياً ومميزاً.

لقد كان هذا اللقاء محطة مهمة لتحويل طاقات جاليتنا إلى شراكات ومبادرات ملموسة، وخطوة إضافية نحو تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري.
