AI Training Update: Geriatrics
One thing we don’t talk about enough in AI healthcare products is how the models actually improve.
This update focuses on geriatrics, where clinical value often sits outside rigid physical exam findings.
What’s improved:
• A new geriatrician-observed findings section capturing functional, cognitive, neurogenic, and safety-relevant observations.
• Clearer representation of function, gait, and falls risk, including mobility aids and walking tolerance.
• Improved capture of autonomic and neurogenic features when explicitly identified.
• More precise handling of observed cognition and capacity.
• Better longitudinal geriatric detail such as postural BP, weight trends, and repeated measures.
These are specialty-specific refinements guided by how geriatricians actually assess patients.
We’ll be sharing these AI training updates regularly to show what ongoing specialty-level improvement looks like.
