leviate the challenges that come with using multiple vendor solutions to manage IT. We explore and innovate, integrating optimal technological solutions into businesses. The result is IT infrastructure and outcomes that increase efficiencies, promote collaboration, cut costs, reduce errors, and make complex IT environments easier to navigate; for now and tomorrow. Stop managing vulnerabilities in snapshots.

Annual testing cycles and static assessments can’t keep up with modern IT environments.

The result?

• Blind spots across your infrastructure
• Delayed response to critical vulnerabilities
• Increased exposure windows

Com-X helps organisations shift to an always-on model – where vulnerabilities are continuously identified, prioritised and addressed.

This isn’t just better security. It’s a measurable reduction in risk.

To support organisations looking to strengthen their security posture, Com-X is offering either:

• A free Essential 8 Rapid Assessment

OR

• A free Pe*******on Test on a key or critical component of your internet-facing infrastructure.

Get practical insight into your current exposure and where improvements can be made.

Windows application management is still too complex. Could Citrix + Numecent change that?

Citrix has acquired Numecent, bringing its Cloudpaging and Cloudpager technologies into the Citrix portfolio.

For IT teams, the opportunity is interesting: simpler application delivery across physical and virtual Windows environments, less reliance on complex images, and potentially an easier path away from legacy App-V estates.

But there’s an important question: does it actually make life simpler?

We haven’t tested the technology yet, so we’re not going to jump to conclusions. What matters now is how it performs in real-world environments — compatibility, performance, security, migration and resilience.

And we’ve taken a closer look at what the acquisition could mean for Australian organisations in our latest blog: https://ap1.hubs.ly/H01lfSJ0

As a Citrix Platinum Partner and Citrix Partner of the Year in Australia, we’ll be watching this closely — and testing what it could mean for our customers.

Cyber threats continue to evolve. Governance expectations continue to rise. Yet many organisations still rely on outdated methods for exchanging their most valuable information.

The organisations leading the way are adopting platforms that provide:

🔒 Enterprise-grade security
📋 Detailed audit reporting
👥 Secure client collaboration
✅ Granular access controls
📈 Better governance and compliance
⚡ Faster document workflows

Secure file sharing is no longer an IT project.

It's a governance initiative.

If you're reviewing your current collaboration platform, we'd love to show you how Com-X and Progress ShareFile can help.

Does better security have to mean more friction for your people?

More passwords.
More authentication prompts.
More restrictions.
More processes to navigate.

It doesn't have to.

In his latest blog, Nick Cross looks at how organisations can use modern Zero Trust, identity and digital workspace technologies to protect people without making it harder for them to do their jobs.

The goal is simple – security should adapt to the situation.

A user working normally, from a trusted device and accessing the applications they usually use shouldn't face unnecessary barriers.

But when something changes – an unusual location, unfamiliar device or unexpected access to sensitive information – the technology should be able to respond.

Don't automatically trust. Continuously validate.

At Com-X, we bring together cybersecurity and digital workspace expertise to help organisations build secure environments that support productivity – rather than get in the way of it.

The strongest defence against scams isn't one piece of technology. It's a culture where people feel confident to stop, question and check.

This Scams Awareness Week, ask your team:

🔹 Do employees know how to report a suspicious email?
🔹 Do they know how to verify a payment or bank-detail change?
🔹 Can they recognise common phishing and impersonation tactics?
🔹 Do they know what to do if they accidentally click?
🔹 Are your security controls helping to prevent threats from reaching them in the first place?

Because the sooner a suspicious activity is identified, reported and contained, the better.

Stop. Check. Protect.

What happens when scammers get AI?

Better-written phishing emails. More convincing impersonation. Highly personalised messages.

Fake documents and communications that can look remarkably authentic.

AI isn't just changing how businesses work. It's also changing how cybercriminals operate.

That means the old warning signs aren't always enough.

The question isn't: Does this look like a scam? it's have I verified that this is actually legitimate?

That's a much stronger security mindset.

Technology can help protect your organisation - but people, processes and security controls need to work together.

This Scams Awareness Week, take a moment to review how your organisation identifies, reports and responds to suspicious activity.

Stop. Check. Protect.

“Can you do this ASAP?”

A request to change bank details. An unexpected invoice. A link to “reset your password”.

A message apparently from your CEO asking for something urgently.

Scammers know that urgency can override good judgement.

That's why security isn't just about having the right tools. It's about creating the right behaviours and controls around them.

At Com-X, we help organisations strengthen security across the environments their people rely on every day - from digital workspaces and identity through to cybersecurity and data protection.
Because when everything is connected, security needs to be connected too.

So next time an unexpected request lands in your inbox:

Stop.
Check.
Protect.

Taking 30 seconds to verify something could save your business far more.

Once an attacker has legitimate credentials, they can potentially look just like a normal user – accessing Microsoft 365, opening files, sending emails and moving between applications.

So the question isn't simply: “Is this user authorised?” it’s: “Should this user be trusted to do this, right now?”

That means looking at behaviour, context and activity – where they're logging in from, what device they're using, what they're accessing and whether it matches what we would normally expect.

This is the thinking behind continuous validation and Zero Trust.

In his latest blog, Nick Cross explores why organisations need to look beyond individual security products and connect the signals across their technology environment.
