A lot of what we do today is built on ideas and projects from many years ago.

I’ve added a new “Museum” section to the website to document some of that history.

Feel free to have a look if that sort of thing interests you: https://www.xiac.com.au/

The original King TB4 tablet counter with ATLC (bottle conveyor), great machine, fast and accurate. This one has been running for 50 years and is now upgraded with a 21st century electronic system. Enhanced performance especially for clear softgel capsules and extremely dusty products. Our "dust-no-problem!" protocol, developed in early 2010, now runs in 1,000's of tablet detection sensors.

Pearls in Tahiti are being counted using XIAC electronics at a rate of approximately 500,000 per day with 100% accuracy despite the huge variation in product size/volume.

Well, there’s your problem! Seen it so many times, destruction of boards and components due to leaking batteries 🙁

While we usually ship out the assembled and validated new equipment to our customers for them to do the installation, occasionally, they prefer to send their machine over for us to do the retrofit / upgrade installation.

This time, we had the opportunity to record the full aspects of the entire retrofitting process on video when one of our customers decided to ship over his two tray Swiftpack machine for refurbishment.

14 years ago, XIAC Australia manufactured the first upgrade/retrofit for the King TC8 tablet counting machine. Since then, over 200 upgrades have been successfully installed worldwide. The machine in this video was at the time still running, although not great. The expectations were high, and with good reason as later that day, the machine was running perfectly. Since then, we added the King TC12, TB4, TB5; Cremer CF830, CF1220, TQ480, CVC1220; Swiftpack, Kalish, DT Swiftpack 8, 12 and 16 channel tablet counters to our portfolio.

CF1220-LTE upgrade, compatible with the Cremer CF1220, TQ1220 and CVC1220.
This economical upgrade, requires only the processor board (PLC) and HMI or HHT (Hand Held Terminal) to be replaced.
Benefit from increased efficiency due to:
- AFC (Automatic Feed Control)
- sDSG (Smooth Down Stream Gating) up to 65BPM with Speed Nozzles
- Quick bottle reject times
- Staged memory flaps (reduced nozzle blockage)
- Double product-Double count (accurate counts even when products overlap)
- BPM timer to maintain consistent production output

Optional:
- Fallen bottle or bottle up/side/down detection (also available for clear bottles)
- Jammed bottle detection
- Dust-Extreme upgrade for detection unit (excellent performance even during extremely dusty product runs)
- Sine wave vi****or drive for smoother and quieter product run
- Easy-Clean memory flap cylinder nuts and buffers

NOTE: XIAC's proprietary "Dust-Extreme" tablet detection sensors are unrivalled in the market when it comes to counting extremely dusty products. While other sensors become inaccurate or fail after 30 minutes or 1 hour, our sensors keep on going and generally do not need more cleaning than once a day.

The MicroXF Tablet and Capsule counter is equipped with one of our Hybrid counting sensors. This sensor allows us to trade channel width for channel number.

The sensor was developed to complement our patented hybrid counting protocol.

When we increase the number of counting channels, each channel width is proportionally reduced to fit the width of the original single channel. Increasing the number of channels is especially useful for check-counting or counting bottles with larger quantities.

The MicroXF hybrid counting sensor supports up to 5 (narrow) channels. This would only allow counting of very small products (like seeds etc), however, they can be counted up to 5 times faster than on a single channel.

In this video, the dual lane sensor mode is demonstrated. Although the dual lane bowl channels are narrower than the single lane bowl, most of the products can still run on this bowl.
