CONFESSION: MY PANTS ARE FROM KMART. 😳

I’m a sustainable personal stylist and about 90% of my wardrobe is thrifted, but every now and then I do buy new.

My rule? It has to be something I genuinely love, will wear on repeat and know will earn its place in my wardrobe.

These lace-overlay pants definitely did. In fact, I bought three pairs. Oops. 😂

Everything else in this look is thrifted, including the dusty navy trench, sheer ruffle blouse, tassel earrings, boots and this divine $10 woven bag.

Sustainable style doesn’t have to mean perfection. For me, it’s about buying more consciously and wearing what you love.

The future is crystal clear.

I adore this photo shoot of the divine Kerry. Psychic medium and boho goddess.

The Camilla was the perfect match with the traditional tarot.

And the colour of the crystal ball was very on brand.

Bohemian and beautiful was the vibe and I think we achieved it.

I’m finally … just doing it.

There’s something really satisfying about bringing together all the shoots, stories and creative pieces I’ve been sitting on for years and giving them a home on my blog.

Honestly… it’s been a long time coming.

As a creative, I think one of the hardest things isn’t the ideas themselves it’s bringing all the moving parts together in a way that actually feels sustainable.

The ideas.
The vision.
The content.
The business.
The pressure to constantly show up online.

Sometimes it can feel like your brain has 47 tabs open at once.

But this year, I’m determined to create a way of sharing my work that feels aligned, inspiring and sustainable… not exhausting.

Less chaos.
More creating with intention.

And honestly, I’d love to know…

Do you find the pace of social media overwhelming sometimes?

The divine Claire Tate
Kinesiologist, yogi and vegan, with a deep love for animals and their wellbeing.

This was our second time working together after many moons between shoots.

Claire has a grounded and intuitive presence.

This shoot was a glimpse into her world. Her work, her space, her way of being.

I loved the autumn tones in this shoot and working with natural light to reflect the warmth of her energy.

A mix of lifestyle and portrait imagery that reflects her brand.

For me, it’s about more than just pretty pictures, it is about capturing the truth of who someone is.

The essence of the human heart.

There is magic in that.

Prettier than her profile pic.

Her current photos weren’t on point.
It was time to tell a different story.

She came to me ready for her moment.

She wanted images that captured hearts and turned heads.

She’d had a major glow up.
Her photos needed to show it.

So we started in her wardrobe.

And honestly… I was impressed.

The most incredible, curated collection of pieces.
So much style.
So much there.

We played.
We styled.
We pulled looks together.

Then I captured her in her best light.

CREATIVE.
STYLISH.
PLAYFUL.
FUN.

The result?

More attention.
More dates.

Never underestimate the power of a good (out) fit.

Not a smaller size.
Not a goal weight.
A. Good. Fit.

Because the difference between meh and magnetic?
It’s usually not your body… it’s your styling.

I’ve been different sizes over the years — and guess what never changed?

When my outfit worked, I worked.

I showed up better.
Spoke with more confidence.
Stopped second-guessing myself.

This isn’t about fashion.

Fashion follows trends.

Style?
Style is strategy.

It’s how you take who you are… and make it unmistakable.

And for the record — I’ll always choose leopard.

Leopard is for life.

Accessories are my signature brand superpower.

A lot has shifted over the years.

My style has definitely evolved…
and so has my brand.

But the one thing that’s always stayed true for me…

is how much I love the art of adornment.

Styling my vibe with statement necklaces and earrings has just always felt right.

It’s always felt like me.

And even as my body has changed over time…

accessories have been my constant.

They’ve been the thing that helps me still feel like myself -
through thick and thin.

Because there’s nothing like…

a little black something
and a dash of adornment…

It’s my vibe.

I’ve noticed something.

When I see women — who are brilliant at what they do — using AI images for their personal branding, something doesn’t sit right.

I’ve sat with this for a while because I use AI in my business. It helps with structure, systems, ideas and copy.

But when it comes to images, I draw the line.

A personal branding photoshoot isn’t “real life” either.

You choose a location.
You style wardrobe.
You wear makeup.
Your hair is done.
You’re guided into poses.

Yes — there’s art direction.

But it’s still you.

I think of a photoshoot like putting on makeup.
You’re bringing out the best in what’s already there.

AI imagery feels like putting on a mask.

Something shuts down.
The spark disappears.
The light in the eyes is gone.

There’s a disconnect.

As AI becomes more widespread, I believe something else will happen.

Humanity becomes more valuable.
What is real will matter more than ever.

Because people don’t buy perfect.
They purchase presence.

That’s why I’ll choose the camera over the avatar.
Every time.

Pushing post anyway because it’s about presence, not perfection. Being visible with the all the things that make you, you.

When you lead with authenticity, people choose you because they can feel the frequency of who you are.

10 years in the personal branding space and I’m still learning as I go. Perfectly imperfect beats not showing up.
