Effective October 31, 2023, posting via Social Posting will no longer function, and engagement statistics will not be available.

Previously, we had mentioned a possible change by August 23, but we've received an update about extended access to the public API.

The connector is no longer available for setup, and existing connectors will be unverified once API access is revoked.

🚨X/Twitter Social Connector Changes for Salesforce and MCAE🚨

We want to inform you about an upcoming change that could impact how you use the Social Media feature in Salesforce and MCAE. As many of us have been aware for a little while, this was a potential adjustment due to changes in API access by X, the company formerly known as Twitter, which meant the Social Connector would no longer be available.

This change is now confirmed and expected to take effect as early as Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

What will change:
🔵Posting to Twitter/X via the Social Posting feature will no longer be functional
🔵Engagement statistics retrieval will be disabled
🔵The connector for setup has been removed in anticipation of this transition
🔵Existing connectors will be unverified once API access is revoked
🔵Any Account, Contact, and Lead profile images obtained from Twitter/X using this feature will no longer be displayed. Reach out to us if you want to explore solutions available for social profile information once this change is rolled out.
