Have you enrolled with AUSTRAC?

As a reporting entity under Australia's AML/CTF regime, enrolling your business with AUSTRAC is a requirement, even if you have already set up your InfoTrack AML/CTF Compliance Centre.
It's a common area of confusion we are seeing among InfoTrack clients and our data shows that more than one third of Compliance Centre users have not yet completed their AUSTRAC enrolment. While there is still time to enrol, it's usually a quick process and a good one to tick off as soon as possible.

The InfoTrack Compliance Centre and AUSTRAC enrolment serve two different purposes:
✅ InfoTrack AML/CTF Compliance Centre: Provides the tools to build and manage your AML/CTF program, complete staff due diligence, train your team, conduct customer due diligence, and maintain compliance records.
✅ AUSTRAC Enrolment: Registers your business as a reporting entity with AUSTRAC. This must be completed directly with AUSTRAC and is a separate legal obligation.
Once enrolled, you can store your enrolment number inside the Compliance Centre, ready for audit purposes.

As proud platinum sponsors of ADAPT's Digital + AI, we are excited to help advance conversation's surrounding AI experimentation to AI ex*****on.

Everyone can build an AI demo. Almost nobody has solved AI in production.

That was the focus of Ajay Kumar's session, covering one of the biggest challenges facing enterprise AI adoption today: why agentic ex*****on stalls when organisations try to move beyond the pilot.

Most teams already have capable GenAI experiments and even proof of concepts. The problem isn't generating content, summarising documents, or answering questions.

The challenge starts when an agent needs to do something.

- Verify information.

- Access authoritative data.

- Submit a transaction.

- Trigger a workflow.

- Make a decision that requires trust.

This is where many projects hit a wall.

When data is fragmented across systems, semantics aren't shared, and trust breaks between internal systems and external sources, agents can suggest and approximate. But they can't reliably execute.

That's why the conversation is shifting from models to infrastructure.

The conference theme was Operationalised Intelligence. The distance between that ambition and where most organisations are today is where the real work begins.

If you're working through the challenge of moving AI from pilot to production, we'd love to continue the conversation.

InfoTrack has partnered with Legora to connect verified Australian legal, property, and compliance data directly into AI-assisted legal workflows.

Through InfoTrack.ai, our Model Context Protocol platform, Legora's agentic AI workflows now connect to verified Australian property, company and identity data sourced directly from government registries, ASIC and regulated conveyancing processes.

Lawyers can access the searches and verification they need within the same environment used for matter work, with human-in-the-loop controls, explicit approval and full auditability.

For firms moving from AI experimentation into implementation, that infrastructure is crucial. Efficiency should not come at the expense of integrity, and. now, it doesn't have to.

We are proud to be partnering with Legora to help Australian legal teams adopt AI with confidence.

📢 Complimentary Staff Due Diligence Extended Until 30 June

With less than three weeks until AML/CTF obligations commence, now is the time to make sure your firm is ready.

More than 25,000 practitioners have already completed their staff onboarding through the InfoTrack Compliance Centre. If your team has not yet completed staff due diligence, InfoTrack still has you covered.

We've extended our complimentary onboarding offer until 30 June to help you get compliant before the deadline.

What's included?
✔ Verification of Identity
✔ PEPs, Sanctions & Adverse Media Screening
✔ National Criminal History Checks (Compliance Officer)
✔ Bankruptcy Search (Compliance Officer)

Why does this matter?
Under the AML/CTF reforms, firms must not only conduct due diligence on their clients. They must also take reasonable steps to ensure employees are appropriately screened and assessed before providing designated services.

For many firms, this could mean onboarding dozens of staff members. With the average cost of employee screening adding up quickly, this offer represents a substantial saving while helping firms get compliant before the deadline.

The offer is available until 30 June only.

Get your staff onboarded and your AML/CTF program one step closer to completion before the 1 July commencement date.

From 1 July 2026, AML/CTF compliance is no longer optional for Queensland law firms. The firms that will meet that deadline are the ones building their programs right now.

On 17 June, join our focused one-hour session with Matt Dunn, CEO of the Queensland Law Society, Ben Gouldson, Director of Clifford Gouldson Lawyers, and Lynette Barlow, General Manager of Sales at InfoTrack. The session takes you from legislative understanding through to operational readiness, including a live walkthrough of InfoTrack's Compliance Centre so you can begin building your program during the session itself.

It is the most practical session in our AML/CTF series to date, and the last before the commencement date arrives.

Are you across what your firm needs to have in place before 1 July?

Most Tranche 2 conversations start with the lawyer, the accountant, or the regulator. Conveyancers are the ones who finish the transaction.

Jennie Tonner, President of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW, represents the practitioners who encounter Tranche 2 obligations not occasionally, but across every settlement they run. Customer due diligence, identification verification, program maintenance, these are not periodic compliance exercises for conveyancers. They are embedded in the daily rhythm of a profession that operates at volume.

On 18 June, Jennie brings that operational reality into a forum that has never existed before: AUSTRAC CEO Brendan Thomas addressing all four Tranche 2 professions in a single session, with time set aside for the questions that matter most to each one.

For conveyancers, those questions are concrete. What does a proportionate program look like when you are managing dozens of settlements a month? How do your obligations interact with the lawyer and the agent on the same matter? What does AUSTRAC actually expect to see from a practice your size?

This is where those answers come from.

Complimentary. 18 June. 9:00 am AEST.
