I recently tested the GL-iNet Comet PoE Remote KVM (GL-RM1PE) and I have to say, I have high praises for this product.
For anyone managing servers without built-in out-of-band management, this device is a game changer. The Comet PoE allows me to:
- Remotely access and control servers as if I was physically in front of them.
- Reboot, troubleshoot, and manage critical systems without needing on-site visits.
- Power it easily over PoE (no messy power adaptors required).
As an IT professional, this tool fits perfectly into my day-to-day work. Many of the servers I manage don’t come with dedicated remote management, so the Comet PoE has become a reliable and cost-effective solution to keep everything running smoothly.
