Our team recently helped an Australian manufacturer impacted by Phobos ransomware.

Phobos ransomware is a form of malicious software used by threat actors to encrypt files on systems. The purpose is to extort a ransom fee from victims in exchange for restoring access to their data.

We share our investigation in this technical article by our Director of Digial Forensics and Incident Response, Bex Nitert.

Meet Bec (and Franklin!) 👋🏼. Bec is our Engagement Manager in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response team. She’s also a dog Mum, has a black belt in Hapkido and is passionate about supporting/coaching women in male dominated careers.

Bec has a background in HR and Payroll, largely in the Mining industry. She joined ParaFlare to gain new technical skills, and be part of a team where she felt at home.
