The test is simple: have a problem, and ask the vendor to show their working. How will it actually work? How reliable is it when 20,000 people are using it tomorrow, not just today?

Anyone can vibe their way to something that looks impressive. Far fewer can explain how it holds up at scale.

If they show their working, you can put it into your own AI tool and check it. Everyone’s running things through AI now anyway, so use that. Check their work.
