So Jake went a bit obsessive about solving it.

The rule we live by: we don't put anything in front of clients until we've tested it on ourselves first. That's how Palate was born. Jake personally rated 2,000 websites to understand what actually makes design good, then built a tool that stops AI output from looking generic.

Now we use it on every landing page we build, and businesses can come and use it too.

That's the whole philosophy in one example. Don't take the shortcut. Go deep on the problem, and you end up building something that actually benefits your business and everyone else's.

1️⃣ Six months in and still no value. Sunk cost is real, the money's already spent, so it feels easier to keep going. But the deeper you get, the harder it is to unwind, and whoever comes next is laying the groundwork from scratch anyway.

2️⃣ One tool, one answer, every time. If you feel like you're being squeezed into a mould, you probably are. Every business owner Harry speaks to has their own requirements. The question worth asking: is this service built around my business, or around their tech stack?

"Who's Jiffi for?" It's a fair question, and the answer is almost ironic.

Jiffi is for any business feeling technological pain. And the interesting thing about that niche is that it's most companies.

If some part of your business isn't operating with technology the way it should, if things are slower, clunkier or more manual than they need to be, that's the signal. That's usually where we're a good fit.

The pain is common. Most businesses just learn to live with it. We're the ones who fix it.
