Jack is one of our engineers, and the one who built Busable's Fleet Maintenance module from the ground up — the system operators use to track servicing, safety compliance, and workshop schedules for their whole fleet.

Ask him a question about it and you'll get more than an answer — he'll want to know why you're asking, what's really going on underneath it.

It's not a simple problem. Safety, scheduling, compliance and workshop hierarchy all have to agree with each other in real time — get one wrong and a bus that should be grounded ends up on the road, or a bus that's fine sits idle.

A software engineer and architect of complex systems, and a mentor and teacher with a perpetual curiosity, he's been behind some of the sharpest thinking at Busable.

What a couple of days at the BusNSW Bus and Coach Expo.

We went in knowing we'd built something operators actually need, one platform that understands the real problems and brings the whole operation together. Getting to put it in front of the industry was the highlight of our week.

Live demos, honest conversations, and a proper look at the platform in action — plus balloons, custom tees and more than a few laughs. It turned into a day out for the whole family, which was more than we hoped for.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a balloon, a tee, or just a quick laugh. And thank you to our customers, our technology partners, BusNSW and the team at Transport for NSW who popped by to say hi. Your support means everything.
