Once you have built out your content library, it's important to keep on top of it to ensure that you don't end up with a repository full of irrelevant and obsolete content.

The best way you can do this is by:

1. Regularly using your winning content — if you use good information frequently, you're likely to keep it up to date

2. Avoid duplicating information across your folders — collate duplicates into a single, valuable document that you can use across bids

3. Keep your content accurate — make sure your organisation's subject matter experts frequently check your data to ensure it's up-to-date and in line with industry trends

To learn more about how to build and maintain a content library, head to our article in the blog: https://bidhq.com.au/how-to-build-an-effective-content-library/

Organising an effective content library doesn't have to be tricky — you just need to follow some basic principles:

1. Ensure that you have a centralised location for your data so that it is easily accessible

2. Categorise and subcategorise your content into distinct folders so that specific content is easy to find

3. Only keep content that is valuable to your bids and up-to-date with industry trends

We recommend using tools like BidHQ that come with a built-in content library where you can store important information that you can use for your bids time and time again — no reinventing the wheel necessary!

In our next post, we'll discuss how you can maintain your content library. For more information, head to our blog: https://bidhq.com.au/how-to-build-an-effective-content-library/
