Whatโ€™s happening in your paddocks shows up on the scales. โš–๏ธ

The earlier you connect the two, the more control you have over the season. Join AgriWebb and Marty Conroy-Jaeger from Barenbrug Australia on Tuesday 27 October, 12pm AEST, for a practical session on pasture, feed and cattle performance in Northern Australia.

Good grazing management shows up on the scales, and the earlier you connect the two, the more control you have over the season.

Two blocks 100km apart, mobs of up to 1,600 head, and a different person moving cattle on any given day. At Malthoid Organic Beef, Greg and Sonya Spencer keep everyone on the same page with one grazing plan the whole team can see. Read how they do it ๐Ÿ‘‡

Central Queensland organic producer Greg Spencer uses AgriWebb feed budgets to read the season early, sell ahead of the market and keep his team on one plan.

How do you make the call to sell when thereโ€™s still good grass in the paddock? ๐Ÿค”

In our recent webinar, Grazing decisions that drive profit, QLD Wagyu producer Richard Brimblecombe and David McLean from RCS - Resource Consulting Services talked through how Richard matches stocking rate to carrying capacity, forecasts ahead using AgriWebb, and keeps his country rain ready through a tough dry.

Feed budget. Rest period. Carrying capacity. Three numbers, and most grazing decisions come down to getting them right.

Profitable Pastures is our free guide to working those numbers out for your own paddocks, whatever system you're running. Grab it, keep it handy, use it when you're standing at the gate trying to decide whether to move stock.

For many livestock producers, grass is one of the most essential resources needed to run a successful operation. So essential, in fact, that many graziers would consider themselves โ€œgrass farmersโ€ as much as livestock producers, acknowledging that good land stewardship goes hand-in-hand with a m...

Over 230 paddocks. Five-plus staff. One glance at a phone.

At Longview in New Zealand, David Pearce and his team use AgriWebb to track stock across 1,955 hectares of beef and sheep country, without the five-kilometre trip to the whiteboard.

The result: they've found their best paddocks grow seven times what their worst paddocks grow, data that's reshaping fertiliser spend and long-term land use decisions.

"Decision making is easier when you know what the facts are, rather than using gut-feel."

Overstocking thins your ground, and understocking wastes good pasture just as surely.

Our new blog covers working out your stocking rate and tracking it against your own carrying capacity. It also shows how to project stock flow against rainfall, so you see a tight patch or spare feed coming months before it arrives.

Summer margins are made in spring. Read it at the link below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Sale day is when a season of feeding through the dry gets its answer ๐Ÿ’ต

Queensland producer Richard Brimblecombe has been feeding cattle at home and on agistment as conditions tightened. With feed costs tracked to each animal, he can set what went into them against what they weighed and made at sale, and see which cattle turned that feed into kilos and margin and which cost more than they returned.

That history carries forward too. When the next dry comes, Richard will have his own numbers to go on: which mobs are worth feeding through, which are worth selling early, and what a load of hay is really worth on his place.

Hear Richard talk it through in our webinar, Grazing decisions that drive profit. Watch the full recording here: https://hubs.la/Q04ySckJ0

Running more stock doesn't always mean more production, and running fewer doesn't always mean you're playing it safe. The gap between what you're stocking and what your land can actually carry shows up in bare patches, patchy regrowth, and stock condition long before it shows up on paper.
We've broken down how to work out a healthy stocking rate for your operation, what changes it season to season, and how to track it against your own benchmark over time. Read the full blog below ๐Ÿ‘‡

87% of farmers running rotational or regenerative grazing say it's boosted their productivity ๐Ÿ‘€

That kind of result comes down to the details, knowing your rest periods, your stocking rates, and exactly how much feed you're working with.

Our free grazing guide, Profitable Pastures, breaks down the systems, the terms, and the maths behind grazing plans that hold up, whether you're fine-tuning a system you've run for years or building one from scratch.
