A lot of great ideas stall after the pilot, simply because the road ahead becomes overwhelming.

Many clinicians and researchers feel like making a digital product work means leaving their profession, raising money alone, and effectively becoming a whole company by themselves.

It doesn’t have to work like that. Some teams choose to build alongside partners who handle publishing, operations and scaling, so they can stay focused on their academic, clinical or community work.

So here’s the question: How many great digital therapeutics would go further if the creators were fully supported during their commercialisation journey?

Proud to support frontline health and care teams to address real system challenges by building working digital health products during the Kent & Medway ICS Hackathon 2026. Always great to see what comes out when clinicians finally get the space to build what they've always known is needed.

What a wonderful week at the Digital Health Rewired! 👏

Proud to have shared our vision for specialised no-code infrastructure for digital health at the Pitchfest final, with great conversations at our stand around neighbourhood health and how health systems can build a pathway in a day.

💬 As our Managing Director Dr Lloyd Humphreys put it, “It's not about creating more apps. It's about the right apps, built by the people who understand the problems best.”

A lot of teams design for “lifetime users.” But most patients don’t behave that way.

They arrive because something hurts, worries them, or has changed. They use what they need and they leave.

That’s often how health works.

So instead of asking: “How do we keep them forever?”

The better question is: “How do we help them when they arrive, and make it easy to come back when they need us again?”

🎙️ In this Health Innovation Network podcast episode for International Women’s Day, Baroness Gillian Merron highlights how the renewed NHS Women’s Health Strategy, to be launched shortly, will place innovation, digital tools, diagnostics and new care models at the centre of improving outcomes for women.

The conversation also explores the need to remove bias from research, scale solutions focused on women’s health, and support more female founders building in this space. Encouraging to hear how well this aligns with the vision of our team and the initiatives we are running.

When you listen to everyone, it’s easy to freeze and justify long delays.

If your app could help someone today, even in a simple way, what’s the real risk of testing it carefully?

How do you decide when something is ready enough to pilot?
